The last couple of weeks in the Hua Hin area have seen the performance of all the internet providers suffer from service drop outs, speeds reduced to a fraction of what is advertised, and consequently both business and personal internet users rueing lost or delayed emails, the unavailability of the internet for long periods and potential lost customers and earnings. While this is not a new problem in Thailand, it appears that the existing infrastructure cannot cope with the demand being placed on it as more and more people in the area want to access the wonders of the computer age, and specifically the worldwide web.
