WELLSTAR KENNESTONE HOSPITAL NAMED “100 HOSPITALS WITH GREAT ONCOLOGY PROGRAMS” Only two hospitals in Georgia made the list MARIETTA, Ga. (July XX, 2014) – WellStar Kennestone Hospital continues to lead the way for cancer care in metro Atlanta. Becker's Hospital Review named Kennestone Hospital “100 Hospitals with Great Oncology Programs” in the 2014 edition of its list. It is one of only two hospitals in Georgia to make the list. The Becker's Hospital Review list recognizes organizations that are leading the way in terms of quality patient care, cancer outcomes and research. The system’s cancer program offers state-of-the-art technology, innovative physicians and collaborative relationship with the Mayo Clinic Care Network to ensure patients receive worldclass care. Kennestone has a state-of-the-art Radiation Therapy Center along with being home to Georgia’s first CyberKnife Robotic Linear Accelerator.
