Creating Comprehensive Designs We develop interiors in harmony with architecture for learning environments, student housing, corporate offices, health and wellness, student success spaces, libraries, and cultural facilities. Every space is considered from the inside out and the outside in, ensuring a holistic approach during all phases of a project. This methodology leads designers to efficient solutions more quickly, helping them to make attractive and enduring environments.

Defining Place Interior design must speak to both the individual and the community, aligning with existing structures while creating a distinct space with a clear identity. Through design we contextualize places and convey institutional missions, preserving tradition while inspiring new ideas. Cultural and education spaces have complex programming needs. Our designers have deep experience in the quantitative requirements of specialized facilities, an understanding of equipment needs, and an eye towards evolving regulatory and technological changes.

Space Typology Even within a single building, different spaces have unique functions. Some demand dynamic energy; others should create privacy and calm to best serve the people who use them. Interior design can simultaneously enhance programmatic utility and physical beauty. The following pages showcase projects categorized by space type.

First impressions count. Interior design bridges the exterior building to the interior environment and its inhabitants. Entry and approach spaces communicate an institution’s character and mission upon arrival. Interior finishes and furniture, in addition to signage and wayfinding, welcome people and highlight the mental and physical shift into a new place.

Transitional spaces are important. Moving from one place to another in a way that is both pleasing and functional keeps inhabitants happy and inspired throughout the day. Well-designed corridors, stairs, and lobbies are essential to successful buildings and should never be an afterthought.
