Under My Skin 2018

Under my skin is result of long time grieving experince.I aim to create an interactive costume which can mimic animal reaction in terms of fear, breed, and protection. The reason for making this project is coming from my previous emotional process. There was a time that I analyze every inch of my skin. I create an illusional distance between my soul and my body that cuase a feeling of a secon skin inside me. These trigger fealings lead me to study and mimic animal reactions. I’ve worked on two disciplines that paper folding and selfassembly. The idea of the structure is actually to explore the unpredicted movement of the air. And the main goal is to rule this movement with the airways. The system is working with two dc motors; one is vacuuming the other one is inflating contantly. The sensors are understanding a drastically change in the sweet glance on the skin and it is inflating and costume shape is changing by the force of air.
