Articulating nature can express in many forms in the case of literature, painting, sculpture, design, fashion, engineering, etc. Getting inspired by nature, learning from nature is one of the strongest methodology. These studies are based on parametric modeling entegrated with additive manufacturing. The behavior of the material took into consideration as the main subject. All objects printed without support.
1. According to Alan Schoen; A gyroid is an infinitely connected triply periodic minimal surface. I think there is no coincidence that a flower follows a gyroid surface structure to create a surface with minimum energy.
2. My form research with wood braches continues with their growing parameters. I designed a box and destroyed from their random node points. I printed with a flexible PLA. And suddenly my box became a sponge. So fascinating that following simple rules for the create a volume and these rules are making structure by itself.
3.Most dinoflagellates have a peculiar form of the nucleus, called a dinokaryon, in which the chromosomes are attached to the nuclear membrane. I try to mimic this form with studying grasshopper. The inner side of the organisms is empty.
