Different Types of mental health disorders What is Mental health definition Mental health is an important or integral part of health or in other words the absence of mental illness. we usually think of feelings and emotions like tension, happiness, and grief or more serious mental illnesses such as depression or bipolar disorder. our life full of ups and downs and we deal with new challenges every day.

the problem we face when people make fun of us, criticize us for how we look, walk or behave. we have to cope with unexpected situations such as the loss of a friend or a loved one, moving on from a difficult breakup or being stuck in an abusive relationship or fear of academic failure and mounting the pressure of responsibilities as we grow up and mature.

good mental health enables us to face these kinds of problems in our lives and helps us to live life to the fullest. poor mental health is the biggest cause of ill health amongst youth in India today. the first step to get help is to talk openly with someone to patiently listen with sensitivity and have a conversation if friends or family need help. often, we are embarrassed to express our feelings but we must acknowledge that our mental health is extremely important. Whenever the subject of health comes up, the focus is more on physical health and not on mental health. While we know that both mental health and physical health play an important role in living life with happiness and enthusiasm. Many people do not pay attention to mental health, due to which, they can be victims of unemployment, conflict with family and friends, feeling depressed, fighting in relationships. There can be many reasons for mental illness such as biological, psychological, and environmental. According to studies, psychological and environmental reasons are a major reason for mental illness. 1/5


Severe Trauma and Stress, Sexual, Physical and Emotional Abuse, Neglect, Lack of Support from Friends and Family, Family and School Violence, Poor Social Relations, Early Loss of Close / Immediate Family Members and Dear Friends, all of which can be psychological. Environment reasons such as dysfunctional family, death or divers, change of environment, romantic failure, school work, substance abuse by family members (often parents). According to the world health organization, about 83 million people in India are facing some mental problems today. But even today many people do not like to talk openly on mental problems. Many people think that if they talk about these problems then they will become a matter of sympathy and mockery in society. And some people think that all these are the result of their own mistakes. In many parts of India, people still make a bad barrier or Prokop a reason to be mentally ill. In such a situation, people prefer not to be treated by a doctor, a psychologist, it is more appropriate to get treatment by tantra and worship. In this case, the problem increases rather than decreases. In such a situation, it becomes more important for us to know what are mental health disorders, what are the issues of having mental disorders. According to a psychologist, in such a situation, instead of suffocating, people should talk to their friends and parents first.

Mental Health disorders There are many mental health disorders and many issues with them, according to the psychologist, people who have mental disorders have a change in their behavior and consider themselves less and weaker than people.

Mood disorders depression and bipolar disorders are included in mood depression. In mood depression, the mood of the person changes, which can only happen a few times a year and several times in weeks. The person feels depressed, can be sad by remembering any sad thinks from a past or can be happy by remembering happy things at any time. A person can often lose their interest in the activity and move their mood in another direction where they can feel happy and excited.

Dementia In dementia, the brain's ability to think normally decreases, due to which there is a lot of impact on daily life. often, a person can often forget what he was doing 2 minutes or some time ago. With age, the brain's ability to think keeps decreasing. A person with dementia may have difficulty in thinking, not able to solve problems, difficulty in choosing words and remembering things. Dementia is a syndrome and its symptoms are common in a person with other brain disorders. In this, the behavior or mood of the person changes.

Schizophrenia or psychotic disorders Schizo means split or phrenia means mind, which means the splitting of the mind (fragmented pattern of thinking) not the splitting of the personality. It is a mental illness with a number of positive, negative, and cognitive symptoms. Different Patients have Different Symptoms. psychotic symptoms may include delusion, hallucination, disorganized speech, disorganized behavior, and catatonic behavior. This disease occurs mostly in childhood and adolescence, in which the patient may complain of confusion and scary dreams due to which heartbeat and body temperature are increased which are a symptom of this mental illness.

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD) ADHA affects mostly children and adolescents. It is a mental illness. In children, in which children are unable to concentrate on their work, do not sit in one place for a long time. It has mainly three criteria named hyperactivity, impulsivity/impatience, and 3/5


inattention. ADHA is more common in boys than in girls. Children suffering from this are very fickle, do not sit in one place for long, cannot concentrate their attention, and do a lot of silly mistakes during the early days of school.

In some people, this problem resolves with age, but in others it does not, which can cause them to have problems setting goals, looking for jobs, building good relationships, and being patient.

Post-traumatic stress disorders It is a mental health condition that is directly related to an accident or a terrible accident that occurred in the past. In this, the person may have nightmares, restlessness, remembering the things and pictures related to the accident, all these symptoms can occur. Many people who lose their loved one or are the victim of a terrible accident, in such a situation have a great effect on their mind, which is cured with time. Taking care of yourself can be excused from all these, but if these symptoms become more severe then it takes a lot of time to come out from them.

के साथ सुन और बातचीत कर अगर दो त या प रवार को मदद क ज रत है। अ सर, हम अपनी भावनाओं को य करने के लए श मदा होते ह, लेिकन हम यह वीकार करना चािहए िक हमारा मान■सक वा य बेहद मह वपूण है। जब भी वा य का िवषय आता है, तो यान शारी रक वा य पर अ￸धक होता है ना िक मान■सक वा य पर। जबिक हम जानते ह िक मान■सक वा य और शारी रक वा य दोन जीवन को खुशी और उ साह के साथ जीने म मह वपूण भूिमका िनभाते है। बहुत से लोग मान■सक वा य पर यान नह देते ह, ■जसके कारण, वे बेरोजगारी, प रवार और दो त के साथ संघष, उदास महसूस करने, र त म लड़ाई का ￱शकार हो सकते ह। मान■सक बीमारी के कई कारण हो सकते ह जैसे जैिवक, मनोवै ािनक और पयावरणीय। अ ययन के अनुसार, मनोवै ािनक और पयावरणीय कारण मान■सक बीमारी का एक मुख कारण है। गंभीर आघात और तनाव, यौन, शारी रक और भावना मक द ु यवहार, उपे ा, दो त और प रवार, प रवार और कूल हसा, गरीब सामा■जक संबध ं , करीबी / त काल प रवार के सद य के शु आती नुकसान और ि य दो त के समथन क कमी, ये सभी मनोवै ािनक हो सकते ह। पयावरणीय कारण जैसे िक दख ु ी प रवार, मृ यु या गोताखोर, पयावरण का प रवतन, रोमांिटक िवफलता, कूल का काम, प रवार के सद य ारा मादक य का सेवन (अ सर माता-िपता)। िव वा य संगठन के अनुसार, भारत म लगभग 83 िम लयन लोग आज कुछ मान■सक सम याओं का सामना कर रहे ह। लेिकन आज भी बहुत से लोग मान■सक सम याओं पर खुलकर बात करना पसंद नह करते ह। बहुत से लोग सोचते ह िक अगर वे इन सम याओं के बारे म बात करते ह तो वे समाज म सहानुभू￸त और मजाक का िवषय बन जाएं गे। और कुछ लोग सोचते ह िक ये सब उनक ही गल￸तय का नतीजा है। भारत के कई िह स म आज भी लोग भुत बाधा या ोकोप को मान■सक अ व य होने का एक रीज़न बना देते ह । ऐसी थ￸त म लोग डॉ टर, मनोवै ािनक के ारा इलाज नह करवाना पसंद करते, तं और पूजा से इलाज करवाना यादा उ￸चत समझते ह. ऐसे म सम या कम होने के बजाय और बढ़ जाती है।ऐसे कंडीशन म , हमारे लए यह जानना और भी मह वपूण हो जाता है िक मान■सक वा य िवकार या ह, मान■सक िवकार होने के मु े या ह। एक मनोवै ािनक के अनुसार, ऐसी थ￸त म, घुटन के बजाय, लोग को पहले अपने दो त और माता-िपता से बात करनी चािहए।
