LOU MALNATI’S
THINGS TO KNOW:
The world-famous Chicago-style deep-dish pizza chain has strong family roots, including the recipe for its buttery crust that has been passed down from generation to generation. Lou Malnati and his wife, Jean, opened the first Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria in Illinois in 1971. They’ve since opened more than 58 Chicago metro area eateries, as well as two fullservice restaurants and three carryout and delivery locations across Greater Phoenix.
DON’T MISS:
Sauce made from California vine-ripened tomatoes, an exclusive sausage blend, fresh mozzarella from a small Wisconsin dairy that has been supplying Lou Malnati’s for more than 40 years, and a flaky crust guarantee a delicious combination of flavors in every bite of its signature deep-dish pizza. You’ll probably need a knife and fork to dig into this hearty, cheesy dish.
