THE PAVILIONS AT TALKING STICK

THINGS TO KNOW: The Pavilions at Talking Stick is an outdoor shopping center filled with family entertainment options. MUSICAL INSTRUMENT MUSEUM

THINGS TO KNOW: The world’s only global instrument museum, the Musical Instrument Museum houses a collection of more than 8,000 instruments and associated objects from approximately 200 countries and territories, representing every inhabited continent. A visitor favorite is the Artist Gallery, which features historic instruments owned, played and loved by famous musicians, from Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash to Bob Marley and Roberta Flack. USS ARIZONA MEMORIAL GARDENS AT SALT RIVER

Opened in February 2020, the USS Arizona Memorial Gardens at Salt River honors the brave US forces who were aboard the USS Arizona during the attack on Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941. As a nation, we are forever indebted to those who serve and give their lives for our freedom and we are proud to honor them and share their stories in these gardens.

Located just west of Salt River Fields, the Memorial Gardens includes a piece of the original boathouse from the USS Arizona that stood at Pearl Harbor for 10 years prior to building the memorial that stands at Pearl Harbor today. The Gardens are open to the public daily, from dawn until dusk.
