WASTE MANAGEMENT PHOENIX OPEN

THINGS TO KNOW Feb. 7-13. Dubbed the “The Greatest Show on Grass,” this PGA tournament brings more than 700,000 fans to the area. It is the best-attended golf tournament in the world and raises millions of dollars each year for charity. The greatest players of the game compete on the 18-hole course, with lively spectators becoming central to the game — helping transform the famous 16th hole, known as “The Coliseum,” into the loudest hole in golf.

DON’T MISS: After the sun goes down, the party really gets going with live entertain at the Birds Nest, a 48,000-square-foot tent. Headline acts perform every night at 8:30 p.m. 2022 adds a Concert at the Coliseum to its pre-game lineup, with country stars Thomas Rhett and Old Dominion taking to the stage — built in the middle of the 16th hole fairway strictly for this show — for the inaugural concert on Feb. 5.
