KOLI EQUESTRIAN CENTER

THINGS TO KNOW:

KOLI Equestrian Center, located in Chandler, offers a variety of horseback riding trails for everyone from beginners to advanced riders. Guided 60-minute, 90-minute and two-hour experiences will take you over 2,400 acres of equestrian trails that cut across the Gila River Indian Reservation. For a more personalized adventure, a private ride gives you the opportunity to set your own pace and stop for photos. Once you’re done riding, take in the stunning scenery on a hay wagon ride. Or, finish the day with an adults-only margarita sunset ride that ends with a refreshing Cowboy Margarita and chips and salsa.

KOLI’s Kids’ Club offers weekly 90-minute Horsemanship 101 lessons that teach children all about the horse, saddle, grooming and saddling the horse. They’ll spend time in the arena getting comfortable in the seat before taking a short trail ride. Children who attend five or more classes a year are able to sign up for a yearly membership with discounted per class rates. The center also hosts birthday parties for kids of all ages, complete with guided horseback trail rides, barbecue and cowboy games.
