A Research and Development Project B arts aim in this research and development project is to enhance the ability of us and our associate artists to devise and deliver rich, contemporary, immersive theatre aimed at; adults aged 20-35 who typically do not go to the theatre; families with young children and learning disabled adults/ young adults. We will carry this R&D out by working in partnership with Staffordshire University Games Design Department. Emergent Artists B arts is offering 5 emergent artists the opportunity to take part in this R & D project. We are looking for applications from early career artists/ creative practitioners living and/or working in North Staffordshire with an interest in developing B arts practice and how it crosses over between immersive theatre and games. We are interested to hear from musicians with practice and interests in developing soundtrack for theatre. You will need to be available for: An inception meeting (W/beg 14th November A two day lab (in late November dates to be confirmed) A half day Public Sharing and Knowledge Transfer Event (early February 2017) Expenses: £200 B arts will award three micro-bursaries to three partnerships between artists and games designers. You will present the outcomes of these bursaries at the Knowledge Transfer/ Reflection event in February 2017.
