IBÉRICOS VALLEHERMOSO has been dedicated to the Pork Industry for over 15 years, true to our values during all these time we have worked to offer the best products with a great value for money. Nowadays we are specialized on Iberian Pork offering a broad range of products both fresh and processed with a production process inherited from Spanish traditions. Our company is characterized by the special care in the feed and breeding of our animals, its committment to innovation and quality according to the most recognized international standards, as well as for the rigorous global control of the production process to guarantee the highest food safety standards to provide our business partners excellent products and satisfy the most demanding consumers.

Our Commitments
Quality Our strong commitment to quality implies a global control of our production processes and products according to legal requirements and international most recognized quality standards. We are certified according to ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Standard and we are the first Spanish company that certifies their livestock and feed production system according to ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety Management System. We also make a careful selection of our partners, certified in standards as demanding as BRC or IFS which allows us to guarantee the highest quality standards and food safety in our products. In addition we guarantee compliance of the IbĂŠrico Quality Norm (RD 1469/2007 02/11/07) CERTIFIED by Calicer. Our commitment to the continuous improvement process, the respect and compliance of the quality policy and the strong control of food safety enable us to offer products that exceed the expectations and needs of costumers and consumers.

Food Safety Our top priority is to guarantee the highest food safety standard of our products, to provide safe and healthy food that fully satisfies the needs and expectations of our clients and customers and also to ensure they can rely on them.
As a result of the continuous improvement process of the company Quality and Food Safety are certified according to international standards ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 22000:2008 through AENOR an IQNet partner in Spain. The company has established a global system that allows technical control and tracking to ensure traceability, we are also strongly committed to strict compliance of legal requirements and have set an effective system of communication for when incidents and claims according to our management improvement program.

Our Commitments
Traceability Ensure traceability through the production and distribution chain to identify and address risks is a key factor to protect public health and to guarantee consumer safety.
Aware of the importance of traceability to the industry and to society our company has set a system that allow us to track and identify any food, feed, food-producing animal or substance that will be used for consumption, through all stages of production, processing and distribution.
It takes a team of committed professionals and the latest technology to make our traceability system a reality. We document all the information in every process related to our raw materials, processed and final products in an accurate and efficient way that can rapidly identify where our products have come from, where they have been and where they are going, we consider this a vital risk-management tool to protect consumers and guarantee food safety.

The cornerstone of our company to achieve our Mission is the Global Control of Production - GCP an integrated system of tracking and control of all the stages of the chain of value.
Global Control of Production
Genetic Selection We settle and develop a program of selection of Iberian pork, all our breeding are registered in the official studbook of the breed. Always thinking of the consumer, we obtain breeding animals with special genetic characteristics to achieve the best productive and meat quality features. Our own system of selection is develop by a top team of professionals supervised by researchers of reference in the Iberian pork selection scenario.

Global Control of Production
Breeding Process Our livestock production system guarantees that our animals are bred on a balanced environment in high standard farms specialized on the production of animals according to the different stages of life.
Breeding Farms - The first stage, mother sows and birth units. Artificial Insemination Center - Selected breeding male units and center of production of semen for breeders. Transition Farms - Units for piglets from the moment of weaning to 25 kg. Feed Farms - Units for porks from 25 kg, in this type of farms - open-air- our animals stay until the moment of slaughter.
Our farm system is one piece of our Global Control of Production system therefore it complies with the food safety and quality standards of our organization.

Feeding Production The control of the entire stage of feed production allow us to ensure the quality and suitableness of our animals feeding by:
- The evaluation and homologation of raw materials suppliers. - The control and analysis on the reception of raw materials. - The formulation of our feeding, made by specialized professionals with the aim to improve the meat quality our animals and their productive performance. - The technological control of the industrial process of feed production. - The quality controls of the finish product by nutritional content control through NIR Spectrometer and systematic submission of samples to external laboratories of prestige.

Meat Industry All our processes related to meat transformation - from slaughter to curing - are based on GUIJUELO (Salamanca), one of the biggest industries of Iberian Pork in Spain to ensure the excellence of our products. Processes and facilities certified on BRC and IFS standards during this stages, specialized team of professionals to control our production and to assure that the final product satisfy the quality and food safety standards required. Although this stage is performed with the highest technology available and according to the latest advances in the industry, TRUE TO OUR VALUES we respect the tradition inherited for this processes to guarantee an authentic traditional product.

We Guarantee The Best Iberian Porks Selected by our process of genetic improvement, descendants from 100% PURE IBERIAN mother sow. The Best Feeding Our animals are fed with NATURAL cereal and legumes based fodder. WE PRODUCE the ideal feed for our animals based on their particular needs. Animal Welfare Our animals are bred on a balanced environment RESPECTING and allowing the natural grow and development of the specie, in open-air farms where animals can move and improve the process of infiltration of fat.
