Less than a month to go, Alex thinks, as he gets out of bed early in the morning.
Aunt Mary arrives at Alex’s house to ask him something very important.
“Hello my dear Alex!” Aunt Mary says after giving him a big hug.
“I’m here because I would like to know what you would like as a gift for your birthday.”
“I’m glad you asked, Aunt Mary. I want the giant blocks they sell at my favorite store.”
“Let’s go together to buy them,” says Aunt Mary to Alex.
“Excellent idea,” replies Alex, very excited.
Store around the world
Alex and Aunt Mary enter the store, where they find games and items from all over the world, such as antique telescopes, puzzles of The Wonders of the World, earth globes, and other unique items.
Alex’s birthday is coming up and the gift he wants the most is out of stock at his favorite store. But a new toy order is on its way from a faraway place. Let’s learn with Alex and his Aunt Mary how the gift will be transported to his country, crossing the Panama Canal by ship.
