Babson’s Master of Science in Finance (MSF) program equips you with wide-ranging financial expertise, as well as the ability to apply that expertise to practical real-world challenges.

Organizations of all kinds need resourceful finance professionals able to make critical business decisions. In less than a year, you’ll gain the knowledge, communication skills, and problem-solving know-how needed to make an impact in any finance or investment role.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR CURRICULUM FOR YOUR CAREER GOALS CHOOSE FROM DIVERSE ELECTIVES TO ENHANCE YOUR LEARNING

In two semesters, your core curriculum—including courses on capital markets, corporate finance, and derivatives—will give you the necessary foundation of technical financial skills for your future career.

But, that’s only half of your coursework. Your remaining MSF credits are composed of electives you choose on topics such as financing new ventures, managing portfolios, and business intelligence.

This unique flexibility allows you to tailor your degree to your professional and personal interests.

Beyond your standard finance curriculum, the MSF StartUp orientation will introduce you to the Babson-style case method, as well as the career preparation you’ll receive throughout the program.

You’ll also take part in the ethics practicum, a signature learning experience focused on the importance of integrity, compliance, and ethics in the world of finance and investments.

ENGAGE IN EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING WITH FINANCIAL DATA ANALYSIS AND PRACTICE This yearlong course allows you to hone your problem-solving skills by applying the latest research methods using stateof-the-art databases in Babson’s Stephen D. Cutler Center for Investments and Finance. You’ll also learn from financial professionals through research presentations, panel sessions, and guest speakers.
