Worbla! Worbla! Worbla! Worbla’s Finest Art – The Thermoplastic Modelling Material! Worbla’s Finest is a material that is hitting the world by storm! Easily manipulated, heat activated and as hard as plastic when cool. There is little else in this world that meets its usability. What is Worbla? Worbla’s Finest Art has been taking the costume and crafting world by storm. It is made by a German company called Rhenoflex. Worbla’s Finest Arts is the Rhenoflex RX 5050 sheet. Worbla is different from other thermoplastics. It’s thinner than Wonderflex and handles curves better than Sintra. Uriel from Darksiders by Ashari It’s non-toxic and doesn’t need special tools to manipulate. You use hot air, water or steam to shape the plastic however you want. There’s no waste because your scraps can be conditioned and 100% re-blended. These leftovers can be molded to act just like putty, and many artists use Worbla like a form of clay. Worbla is hard when cool and can be sanded without damage. One side of the it is the glue side where when heated, it can be attached to other layers of Worbla or other surfaces without needing additional glue. You can choose to work with multiple layers of Worbla right from the start of a project, or line thin parts later as you decide your needs.

Ashari Cosplay and Props is based in Montreal, Canada. She has been making her own cosplays for 3 years now and is blowing everyone away with her tremendous talent. Her beautiful use of worbla (seen on pages 7-10) has especially caught the eyes of the cosplay community. “Despite it being costly, you’re getting your money’s worth when you look at the durability and finish of the Armor your going to make.” -Ashari

COSPLAY IS LOVE REGALIAS FOREST Illa Anastasia Years of Cosplay: 6 Georgia, USA Regalias Forest is a talented young woman in the cosplay community. Featured here are her opinions on why cosplay is love and some of her League of Legends cosplays such as Arcade Miss Fortune, Sleighbell Katarina, and Miss Fortune. Why do you love Cosplay? “I love cosplay because it allows me the chance to bring to life the characters I idolize. Certain characters are a dream for me to be able to cosplay.” What is you favorite Cosplay and why? “My favorite cosplay is usually the one I’m working on. I always get excited about being able to put time and effort into something, and having my efforts pay off when I debut the cosplay. Currently I just finished Yoko from Gurren Lagann, so that is currently my favorite cosplay.” How has cosplay changed your life or who you are? “Cosplay has opened up a whole other world for me. It makes you see the world differently by looking at everyday objects, and thinking wow, I could use that as a prop or as part of an outfit.”
