In the next three years Bärenreiter Praha will publish Urtext editions of Dvořák's complete vocal works for solo voice and piano.

Apart from the cycles of Cypresses (already published), Gypsy Songs, and Biblical Songs, which will appear separately, all of Dvořák's other compositions for solo voice and piano will be issued in chronological order in two volumes as Songs I and Songs II. Some of the songs have as yet existed only in autograph form or in historical editions. Both volumes will have two versions – for high and low voice.

Besides an extensive preface (Cz/Eng/Ger) and critical commentary (Eng) by the editor, all our urtext song publications cater to concert performance demand by providing lyrics in three languages (Cz/Ger/Eng) with each vocal part.
