ACO has been learning about how we use rainwater in domestic properties. As BALI members, we had seen Owen’s article on water availability in the UK in Landscape News. This naturally led to several conversations with Owen on the subject. As Owen’s articles in Landscape News testify, Owen is well-informed on a wide range of technical issues. Beyond that he is also well-connected and so fed into our conversation insights on rainwater use from others he interacts with.

This resulted in Owen organising an on-line consultation between ACO and BALI members to discuss rainwater harvesting in domestic properties. So ACO has greatly benefited from Owen’s expertise, his wide range of connections but above all his readiness to engage with and support ACO as we investigate the important subject of how we use rainwater in our properties.

Our vision is to simplify business finances and advocate the importance of knowing your numbers. Each week, we upload an article to the ‘My Content’ section of our BALI profile. All BALI members can view these articles on the BALI website in their own time, and they are featured in the weekly e-newsletter and the news section of the BALI website. Our hope is that our widely published articles can offer some guidance to make business finances seem less daunting.

In addition, we write for the Landscape News journal, which is published in hard and digital copy quarterly. This is another way we can reach BALI members who need support with running their business and can benefit from our knowledge and experience.
