Dear Ballet Lubbock Family and Friends, Since 1978, Ballet Lubbock has thrilled audiences with its annual performances. This December, we were able to raise a glass and welcome the return of the iconic tale of The Nutcracker, sharing this beloved tradition with a record-breaking 15,000 audience members across the South Plains. Now, on behalf of Ballet Lubbock’s board and staff, it’s my honor to welcome you back to Buddy Holly Hall for Ballet Lubbock’s adaptation of the storybook classic, Cinderella. This spring, our Artistic Director, Yvonne Racz Key, along with all the other staff and dancers have worked harder than ever to create a performance that brings this fairytale favorite to life through choreography, movement, and music. We hope that this year’s production is a reminder to all of the magical experience that can be found and shared when a story is told through dance. None of our plans, progress, or performances would be possible without the tremendous support of our sponsors and community partners. We thank you sincerely for your continued involvement and for championing our mission through donations, volunteerism, and applause. Your kindness and generosity are making an impact. We continue to grow and serve more each year thanks to your contributions and support. We are stronger than ever with your support. Thank you for supporting Ballet Lubbock and arts in the South Plains for fifty years. Thank you for helping us make this weekend a fun and memorable event for our dancers. Most of all, thank you for igniting a love of dance and a passion for the arts - the best is truly yet to be. Nathaniel Wright President of the Board Ballet Lubbock
