The Lennox Head Cultural Centre is located in the heart of Lennox Head village, alongside shops and cafes that can cater for your event. The venue is also across the road from beautiful Seven Mile Beach and is just a 15 minute drive from the Ballina Byron Gateway Airport.
The Lennox Head Cultural Centre houses a large multi-purpose auditorium, five seperate meeting rooms, an interview room, kiosk and community hall, along with a multi-purpose activities room and the Lennox Head Public Library.

AUDITORIUM
The Auditorum seats up to 500 people. This room is approximately 580 square meters and is carpeted with 1m x 1m charcoal coloured carpet squares. It is also fitted out with:

FOYER
The foyer is a light-filled space where the centre management office is located, art installation by Grown Surfboards, as well as access to the library, auditorium, bar and servery and public restrooms.
CWA HALL
The CWA Hall has a lovely timber floor and open plan kitchen, perfect for serving refreshments. It is and affordable venue used for a variety of activities including yoga, pilates, meetings and workshops. It has the capacity to accommodate 60 people theatre style, 30 people circle style and 22 people U-shape, tables and chairs are provided.
INTEGRATED MEETING ROOMS/ DANCE STUDIO
There are three equal sized meeting rooms, which can accommodate 10-15 people in each room. Alternatively, this space can be combined into a larger 90m2 space, with a full-length wall mirror at one end. This space is ideal for dance, yoga and pilates classes.
MEETING ROOM 4 / GREEN ROOM
Meeting Room 4 is located adjacent to the meeting rooms and auditorium and is a carpeted space with kitchenette and accessible toilet. It functions as a ‘green room’ for events.

INTERVIEW ROOM
This is a professional consultation space that is purpose-built for small meetings. It can accommodate up to four people and features air-conditioning, sink and bench in the room, and is fitted with privacy blinds. It also includes a separate waiting room area with private access and accessible toilet
ACTIVITIES ROOM
A dedicated activities room is available for hire and will accommodate up to 30 people and includes separate toilets and kitchenette.
COURTYARD
A large courtyard leads from the western entrance to the foyer for the informal gathering of patrons prior to and during event breaks.
To minimise the noise impacts on nearby residents the use of the courtyard is restricted to pre-event and intermission drinks, and the serving of food for a maximum of two hours per event.
The courtyard is not suitable for sit-down dinners. The playing of music in this area is limited to small acts (such as acoustic solos or duos).
CAR PARKING
The Centre provides 47 parking spaces on the site. Additional parking is available on Park Lane.

All events are booked through Community Spaces staff by completing a Large Event booking form.
EVENT BOOKING
Hirers will be required to pay a cleaning fee for ticketed events, events using amplified music, events requiring bar service and events with 50 plus people.
EVENTS WITH AMPLIFIED MUSIC
Amplified music must cease before midnight on Friday and Saturday nights, and before 11pm, Sunday to Thursday.
Noise levels in bass frequencies to be constrained to not more than 106 dB (linear) in each of the three octave bands 63 Hz, 125 Hz and 250 Hz. The noise monitor in the auditorium will indicate when these levels are being exceeded. Although these levels are likely to be in the order of 15 dB above the quietest background levels in these octave bands at the closest receivers, they are to be considered lawful.
If the noise monitor indicates excessive levels of noise, hirers will be required to reduce the volume levels to ensure compliance.
PROMOTION

We request you hire one of the AV technicians responsible for the installation and upgrade of the equipment in the auditorium. Please ask our staff for contact details.
