INTERNATIONAL INCORPORATED BACHELORS (IIB)

COUNTRY INTERNATIONAL YEAR ZERO (4 YEARS) IELTS 5.5 (with no single element below 5.5)

Bangladesh Successful completion of HSC with a minimum of 50% / GPA 3.0

China Successful completion of Secondary School Senior 2 with a minimum of 70% or Senior 3 with below 75%

Egypt Certificate of General Secondary School Certificate with good grades (60%) or Secondary Education certificate of Al-Azhar with 60% INTERNATIONAL YEAR ONE (3 YEARS) IELTS 5.5 (with no single element below 5.5)

HSC (4.0 GPA or above) will be considered for direct admission to bachelor’s degree courses. HSC Student (below 4.0 GPA) – plus 1 year Foundation Programme or must obtain a two-year bachelor’s degree (Pass). Good grade in the Senior High School qualification plus a 1 year Foundation Programme is required.

OR

Successful completion of Senior High 3 with 75% or above overall (with a minimum of four subjects). GAO KAO is not required. Certificate of General Secondary School Certificate with a minimum of 80%. OR ‘‘Pass’ from a post school Diploma or one year at an Egyptian University

Ghana

Successful completion of the West African School Certificate (WAEC) or Senior School Certificate normally with an average grade 1-6 (A-C) in 5 or more subjects* Good grade in the WASSCE plus one year of extra study

OR ‘Pass’ National Diploma (ND), Post-Secondary Certificate or Medical-related Diploma.

Hong Kong Pass HKDSE with a minimum of 4 subjects Including Maths where required at Level 2 or above

OR Complete Form 4 and 5 with an average of 40-55% (depending on school’s banding) including Maths where required Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) with minimum of levels (48 UCAS tariff points) plus any additional compulsory subjects

OR HKALE 2 passes minimum grade E in relevant subjects, equivalent to 48 UCAS tariff points OR completion of a recognised Foundation course.

Jordan Tawjihiya/Thanawihya/General Secondary School Certificate with good grades (60%)

Kazakhstan Complete the Svidetel’stvo o Srednem Obrazovanii (Certificate of Secondary Education) with an average of 4 or “good” overall.

Kenya

Libya Secondary Education Certificate with a score of at least 60% INTERNATIONAL YEAR ONE (3 YEARS) IELTS 5.5 (with no single element below 5.5)

A minimum of 55% in the Standard XII school certificate from recognised central or state boards

OR Completion of the Polytechnic / College of Technology Diploma (3 to 4 years in duration) ‘Pass’ the Senior High School qualification plus a 1 year Foundation Programme

‘Pass’ a post school Diploma (D1) Good grades in the Upper Secondary School Leaving Certificate (Kotogakko Sotsugyo Shomeisho) plus a 1 year Foundation Programme.

OR Specialised Training School Upper Secondary Graduation Certificate with an overall ‘Pass’ Successful completion of Secondary School Leaving Certificate/ Senior High School qualification (Tawjihi) AND a 1 year International Foundation Programme Diploma of Specialised Secondary Education with 3 or above

OR 1-2 years of study from a recognised Kazakh university. OR award of recognised Foundation course.

Bangor University recognises the TRC University Foundation Programme. Pass grades in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) plus a 1 year Foundation Programme.

OR ‘Pass’ University Diploma from a recognised institution in Kenya.

OR ‘Pass’ Higher / Ordinary Technician Diploma Successful completion of year 12 Secondary School Leaving Certificate AND a 1 year International Foundation Programme.

International Baccalaureate (IB) A minimum of 20 points

UK Qualifications 4 GCSE passes grades A – E OR Three GCE AS levels (grades D – E) Atestat pro Povnu Zagal’nu Sersdniu Osvitu (Certificate of Secondary School Education) plus a 1 year Foundation Programme.

Completion of grade 12 with a GPA of 6.0.
