Your life at Bethshan Gardens MyTeam MyTeam is all about improving quality of life. It is care that focusses on connecting with you, knowing your story and supporting you to live a meaningful life. Residents, families and consistent team members are all partners in MyTeam. This means the same group of team members provide personal care for the same residents, every day they work. Each team will be better placed to understand the needs and preferences of those residents in their care, so they can support their choices.
Lifestyle At any age, it’s important to have meaning and purpose, and to have fun. Our lifestyle coordinators create varied activity calendars to help you stay both physically and mentally active, including exercise programs, crafts, games, live entertainment, outings, concerts and celebrations for special occasions. There’s something for everyone.

Life at Bethshan Gardens can be both lively and peaceful. At Bethshan, there’s always someone ready for a chat or an activity happening. If you want to relax you can always grab a book from the library and enjoy the garden. We also hold regular services in our chapel that you’re always welcome to join. When you want to go out there are shops, clubs, and churches nearby.
Dining You’ll love the freshly cooked meals our chef prepares and your friends and family are welcome to join. For family gatherings, our outdoor BBQ area is a perfect spot to celebrate and our hairdresser can help you look your best for the occasion. Our onsite cafe is spacious with a wonderful atmosphere, where you can catch up with friends and family.

Caring for you Your dedicated Care Team Manager will meet with you and your family to plan how we will support your choices, preferences and needs. You’ll have access to a range of health professionals onsite, with registered nurses on duty 24/7. Rest assured, we will be there to provide the care you need when you need it. Dementia care We are able to support clients living with dementia, with a focus on promoting well-being and independence, and what brings meaning and purpose to the lives of each individual. Your care team partners will provide care that is flexible, compassionate and responsive to the needs of each and every resident.
Your team Our highly-skilled team provides customer-focussed, personalised care. We draw upon a range of people and professions to ensure the care you receive is of the highest quality. As a valued member of our community, we want you to feel comfortable, safe and happy at all times. We never get tired of doing the little things; because we know the little things can make the biggest difference. From our cleaners, to carers and managers, right through to our CEO, we do what we do, Because we care.

Palliative care Using our ‘Affirm, Balance, Comfort’ approach, we discuss your choices with you and your family on admission and throughout your stay. This allows us to adapt your care plan to suit your changing needs and brings great comfort to you and your family, as everyone will clearly know and be involved in decisions around end of life care. Chaplaincy care As a Christian not-for-profit organisation, our purpose is to respect and care for you. That’s why our chaplains are here to support you through life’s challenges and experiences, whatever your beliefs and however you express your spirituality. They’ll spend time getting to know you, offer friendship, and be there to support you in times of need.
BaptistCare Bethshan Gardens is warm and welcoming the moment you walk through the door. We have both general care rooms and dementia care rooms in our secure memory care centre. All rooms feature ensuites, TV/ Phone connection points, heaters, built in wardrobes and emergency monitoring systems. Bethshan also contains both individual rooms and companion rooms to cater for couples or those who love to socialise.

Bethshan Gardens consists of 134 single rooms with ensuites set within a configuration of seven cottages. All cottages have lounge rooms and kitchen facilities with spacious rooms which can be customised with your own personal belongings. Televisions, telephone, Internet and Foxtel services are available at an optional extra cost.

Common areas CAFE AND SHARED SPACES
Bethshan Gardens is surrounded by plenty of outdoor space and gardens with ample seating and walking paths. You’ll arrive through our beautifully manicured entrance to our modern auditorium, including onsite café and lounge. These common areas are large and light-filled with sweeping views of the natural surrounds. All areas of the property offer a welcoming, secure and a safe environment for our residents. Residents have access to shared activity areas and community events to encourage interaction and connection as a community. 8
