Our Chaplaincy Services Here For You

Welcome

We all know there are no two people the same. As a Christian, not-for-profit organisation, BaptistCare is here to respect and care for you, as you. We want to support you in any area you feel necessary. That’s why, as part of our ongoing care, we offer a free chaplaincy service to all our residents, clients and families. Chaplains are here to support you through life’s challenges and experiences, even if you’re not religious. They’ll spend time getting to know you; talking you through anything you need and discussing what matters to you. This is often the start of a wonderful friendship between our chaplains and our clients, residents and their communities – and we can’t wait for you to be involved.

Ross Low Chief Executive Officer

What Is A Chaplain? Chaplains are open-minded and approachable people who love God and love other people. The chaplains who work at BaptistCare have been trained to respond to the individual needs of residents, clients and families – there is no matter too big or small. Our chaplains support people across all our BaptistsCare services. You’ll also find our chaplains connecting with people in hospitals, prisons, and a range of other environments. Now that you’re a part of the BaptistCare community, a chaplain will be in touch to arrange a suitable time to drop by and personally welcome you to BaptistCare.

What If I’m Not Religious? While chaplains are able to help you explore faith issues, don’t worry if you are not religious. Whatever your faith or background, our chaplain would be happy to meet with you.

Jesus said:

“My purpose is to give life in all its fullness.

John 10:10

“Thank you for your visit post the recent bushfires. The way you sat and selflessly listened wholeheartedly with all of your being meant more to me than my words can ever express. Your uninterrupted presence and sense of peace and understanding carried me through last week and I will be forever grateful for that.
