by Barazzuol / Malisan ——T chair prende il suo nome dal monogramma di Tacchini che, casualmente, compare anche sullo schienale. La sedia nasce dalla volontà di realizzare una seduta semplice come lo schizzo che l'ha concepita; un disegno a fil di ferro che ricalca l'idea stessa di "sedia" giocando con la memoria collettiva. La linea continua della matita si tramuta nel telaio in profilo rettangolare di ferro curvato e verniciato.Allo stesso telaio sono fissate, in modo discreto, le forme morbide del sedile e dello schienale.

Sedile e schienale vengono realizzati in legno o in imbottito garantendo comodità alla seduta.Il gioco dei contrasti tra le forme morbide delle parti in legno e la rigida eleganza del telaio è marcato inoltre dalla scelta di colori e dei tessuti. In questo modo la T-chair diventa una presenza rassicurante, adatta alla casa come al contract, che regge il tempo grazie al carattere razionale ed elegante.

——T chair takes its name from the T of Tacchini which, incidentally, also features on the back. The chair is the result of the aim to make a chair as simple as its design sketch, a design in wire which echoes the actual idea of “chair” as a play on collective memories. The unbroken pencilled line is transformed into the coated and bent iron frame with rectangular profile.

Discreetly attached to this frame are the soft shapes of the seat and back made in wood or upholstery for comfortable seating. The play on contrasts between the soft shapes of the parts in wood and the rigidly elegant frame is also accented by the choice of colours and fabrics. In this way the T-chair becomes a reassuring presence, for homes and contract, which withstands the passing of time thanks to its rational and elegant personality.

by Pearson Lloyd ——Angoli obliqui che ricordano le forme di antichi obelischi, creando un architettonico gioco di luci e di ombre.Volumi pieni che sembrano magicamente galleggiare sul pavimento, su una base nascosta alla vista.

Crystal è una famiglia di divani e poltrone, che si distacca dagli standard e dai luoghi comuni, generando un senso di sospensione e di dinamismo, senza utilizzare inutili artifici estetici, ma puntando su una sapiente, quanto assoluta, semplicità.

——Oblique corners reminding of ancient obelisk shapes, creating an architectural play of light and shadow. Full volumes seem to float above the floor, on hidden base. Crystal is a collection of sofas and armchairs away from ordinary standards and clichés which gives birth to a suspended and dynamic effect with no need of aesthetical devices. It’s just about smart and absolute simplicity.

——La collezione Crystal è composta da un divano a 2 o 3 posti e da due poltrone dotate di una forte individualità: una di forma quadrata, con tagli diagonali che suddividono la seduta, lo schienale ed i braccioli, l’altra invece circolare a avvolgente da ogni lato, con un cuscino tondo in posizione centrale. In entrambi gli elementi ritroviamo l’effetto di sollevamento da terra, prodotto dalla base smussata, che caratterizza l’intera collezione: un progetto che si presta a molteplici abbinamenti e ambientazioni, in casa e negli spazi collettivi.

——Crystal collection includes a 2 or 3-seat sofa and two strongly individual armchairs: one is square-shaped with bias cuts defining its seat, back and arms, whilst the other one is round-shaped and snug throughout with a round cushion in the middle. In both elements you can notice a lifting effect from the floor thanks to its bevelled base featuring the whole collection, permitting different matches and settings, home and collective spaces.

by Pearson Lloyd ——Fixie è uno sgabello realizzato con una struttura tubolare che oltre ad essere pratica, caratterizza il prodotto e lo rende immediatamente riconoscibile, come un motivo grafico tridimensionale o una scultura d’arredo. Questo effetto è accentuato dall’utilizzo di colorazioni originali che rendono Fixie ancora più unico. La qualità estetica non va a discapito della funzionalità: lo sgabello è infatti regolabile in altezza e girevole a 360° gradi.

——Fixie is a stool featuring a functional tubular structure which deeply identifies the product, making it instantly recognizable as a 3D graphic pattern or a furniture sculpture.This effect is enriched by original colours making Fixie definitely unique.The aesthetic quality does not hide its functionality: the stool is adjustable in height and it’s 360° revolving.

Da questa esigenza nasce un rinnovato interesse per divani e poltrone caratterizzati da uno schienale alto e avvolgente, in grado di offrire una maggiore privacy, senza però generare un senso di chiusura.

by Luca Nichetto ——Dopo il divano e la bergère, la famiglia Dressed si arricchisce di una poltroncina girevole che mantiene la confortevole morbidezza del rivestimento imbottito, ispirato ai capi di abbigliamento sportivi, che caratterizza gli altri modelli. I cuscini vestono infatti anche questa realizzazione, rendendola soffice e diventando un elemento integrante della sua estetica. Le dimensioni contenute la rendono adatta sia all’utilizzo domestico che all’ambiente ufficio, ad esempio ad esempio accanto ad un tavolo per riunioni.

——After the sofa and the bergère chair, the Dressed collection is enriched by a new revolving small armchair featuring the comfortable softness of the padded upholstery inspired to sport garments typical of the other models.

Cushions define this armchair as well, being an integral part of its aesthetics and making it soft. Its modest size makes it suitable for home and office, for example positioned next to a conference table.
