Introduction
Introduction Congratulations for choosing Taga. Taga is a multifunctional lightweight vehicle for urban parents and children. Its innovative ecological design aims to improve your daily parental life and make them less restrained and more enjoyable. Taga allows you to ride easily and safely with your child while carrying groceries or personal items, transforming every journey into an adventure. When reaching your home or any building such as a shop, indoor playground, clinic or friend’s house, Taga can be easily transformed within 20 seconds into a stroller, allowing entry to the premises, use of the elevator or ascending the stairs. We wish you and your loved ones much fun and pleasure with your new Taga. If you have any concerns, questions or comments about your Taga or how to use it, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’d love to hear from you.
About this user manual: WARNING Read these instructions carefully before you use the product and keep them for future reference. Your and your child’s safety may be affected if you do not follow these instructions.
This user manual is for Taga model 1.0 You will find two pamphlets with illustrations attached to the manual. The manual will direct you to the relevant illustration when you assemble Taga and when you learn how to use and maintain Taga. This manual contains many “WARNINGS” and “CAUTIONS” concerning the consequences of failure to maintain or inspect your Taga and of failure to follow safe usage practices. The word WARNING indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in serious injury or death.

The word CAUTION indicates a situation which, if not avoided, could result in serious damage to the product or the voiding of your warranty.
Important information: Taga is patented. Taga model is protected. "Taga" and "Be Moved" are trademarks of Taga B.V. Taga stroller complies with safety standards EN1888. Taga tricycle was successfully tested and assessed against all the aspects relevant to tricycles described in city bicycle standard EN14764. Taga fabrics and harness comply with standard EN71 part 2 and 3 Taga fabrics supplied in the UK comply with standard BS5852 The Taga child seat is not approved to be a car seat; transport your child only by approved car seat. Approved car seats may be connected to Taga’s frame using special Taga adapters. See accessories section or check our website. You will find a sticker with the item code below the rear frame’s main tube and a stamped serial number on the side of the rear frame, near the bottom of the seat tube. Maintain Taga periodically to avoid excessive wear and unsafe situations (see maintenance section). This manual is not intended as a comprehensive use, service, repair or maintenance manual. Please see your reseller for all service, repairs or maintenance. Use only original replacement parts and accessories, supplied by Taga. The warranty does not cover damage to Taga caused by overloading, misuse or the use of non-original parts and accessories. For further information, refer to the warranty section in this manual. Parts of the product may discolor in the sun. Avoid exposing Taga to extreme temperatures.
Safety first Make a safety check before every ride on Taga (see "Safety check" in "Riding Taga" section) Taga was designed for city usage. Taga was not designed for sports, mountain or competition riding. Don’t use it on non-paved terrain.

Warnings
In strolling mode, Taga is intended for children from 6 months old and up to a weight of 15 kg / 33lbs (around 4 years old). In riding mode, Taga is intended for children from 8 months old and up to a weight of 25kg / 55lbs (around 6-7 years old). Using Taga car seat adapter enables carrying children ages 0-12 months. The maximum weights allowed on Taga are: Riding Mode Strolling Mode 100kg / 220lbs Rider 25kg / 55lbs Child 15kg / 33lbs Luggage in underseat basket 15kg / 33lbs 15kg / 33lbs Regularly check Taga’s brakes, tires, rims, Velcro straps, fasteners and quick release levers, to avoid unsafe situations (see "Safety Check" section). Adjust the seat height before riding: your legs should be stretched while both your feet should touch the ground. In most countries the left brake lever controls the front brakes and the right brake lever controls the rear brake. In the UK, Ireland, Japan, Hong-Kong, Singapore, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, the left brake lever controls the rear brake and the right brake lever controls the front brakes. Please notice that some countries may require using reflectors and lights as mandatory accessories when riding public roads (See accessories section).
WARNINGS Like any type of outdoor activity, riding a tricycle involves risk of injury and damage. By choosing to ride a tricycle, you assume the responsibility for that risk, so you need to know and to practice the rules of safe and responsible riding and of proper use and maintenance. Proper use and maintenance of your Taga reduces risk of injury. Please notice that Taga is a tricycle and thus behaves differently than a two-wheel bicycle when riding it. Ride it carefully, especially on turns. To improve stability, slow down before turning and lean your body in the direction of the turn.

Because it is impossible to anticipate every situation or condition which can occur while riding, this manual makes no representation about the safe use of the tricycle under all conditions. There are risks associated with the use of any bicycle / tricycle which cannot be predicted or avoided, and which are the sole responsibility of the rider. Many countries and states require specific safety devices. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with the laws of the state where you ride and to comply with all applicable laws, including properly equipping yourself, your child and your tricycle as the law requires. Observe all local bicycle laws and regulations. Observe regulations about bicycle lighting, licensing of bicycles, riding on sidewalks, laws regulating bike path and trail use, helmet laws, child carrying laws, special bicycle traffic laws. It’s your responsibility to know and obey the laws. Remember: The child’s safety is your responsibility. It may be dangerous to leave your child unattended. Taga child seat is not suitable for children under 6 month. Excessive weight (beyond the maximum weights stated in the table above) in either the child seat or the basket may cause hazardous unstable conditions to exist. Always use the safety harness to avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always secure all safety harness straps. Ensure the safety harness is correctly fitted and adjusted and secures the child firmly. Keep children away during conversion from stroller to tricycle and vice versa. Do not allow children to play with the product. They may be injured. When children climb in and out, the tricycle may tip down in front unless held from the back of the tricycle. Do not let other children play unattended near the product. Always use a bicycle helmet for yourself and your child when riding Taga (not necessary in strolling mode). Do not stand or let children stand on the curved tube between the wheels. This is unsafe and can damage the product. Practice extra care when using stairs or escalators. Apply parking brake when you park Taga. Apply parking brake when loading or unloading children. Remember that breaking distance in wet weather is longer. Do not use Taga if any part is broken, torn or missing.

Applications and Features
Parcels or accessories attached to the handlebar or the child seat stand will have a negative impact on the stability of the product. This product is not suitable for running or skating. Ensure that all locking devices are engaged before use. Ensure that the child seat is properly attached to the arm adapters before use. Always lock the converting joint lever after converting Taga from tricycle to stroller mode, or vice versa. Keep away from heaters, open fire or exposed flames. As with all mechanical components, Taga is subject to wear and tear. Different materials and components may react to wear or stress fatigue in different ways. If the expected usage life of a component has been exceeded, it may suddenly fail, possibly causing injuries to the rider. Any form of crack, scratches or discoloration in highly stressed areas indicates that the life of the component has been reached and it should be replaced.

Chassis Assembly CAUTION It is recommended that your reseller will assemble Taga for you. The following instructions are provided in the event that your reseller has not assembled your Taga for you.
This section will describe how to assemble Taga. Follow these instructions, step-by-step. Each step is fully illustrated. Use the Allen key provided in this package. In addition, you will need a Philips screwdriver. For any question, please contact your authorized reseller or call our service center.
Before starting 1. The product should be assembled on a carpet. 2. Take out all the parts from Box 1 and put them on the carpet. 3. Remove all packaging materials carefully using scissors, except the packing materials which hold the steering post to the rear frame . FIG 04 4. Lay the front frame on the carpet with the converter joint tube facing up FIG 05 .
WARNING Keep plastic bags and small parts away from children or infants to prevent choking or serious injuries.

Step 1: Assembling the front wheels WARNING The wheel quick release uses a cam action to lock the tricycle’s wheel in place. Because of its adjustable nature, it is critical that you understand how it works, how to use it properly, and how much force you need to apply to secure the wheel. 1. Mount the front wheels on the fork dropouts FIG 06 . The brake disk should be inserted simultaneously into the brake caliper FIG 06 . Make sure to insert the right wheel into the right dropout and the left wheel into the left dropout. The arrows marked on the disk rotor should indicate the direction of travel, so when the arrow is on the top of the rotor it should be pointing at your direction FIG 06 . 2. Make sure that the dropout tube edges are inserted into the circumferential grooves on both washers and that the washers are holding the dropout tube firmly on both sides FIG 07 . 3. Adjusting the quick release mechanism: The wheel hub is clamped in place by the pressure of the quick release cam pushing the washers against the dropout tube and holding it from both sides. The amount of clamping force is controlled by adjusting the quick release mechanism. Hold the internal washer with one hand, while turning the cam lever with the other hand to adjust the mechanism. Turning the cam lever clockwise increases clamping force; turning it counterclockwise reduces clamping force. Make sure that you turn the lever clockwise until the washers are holding the dropout firmly. Less than half a turn of the lever can make the difference between safe clamping force and unsafe clamping force FIG 07 . 4. Close and secure the quick release mechanism by rotating the lever 90 degrees so it is parallel to the wheel. Note the "close" engraving on the lever. You should use force to close the lever. If closing does not require force, it means that the clamp is not secured FIG 07 .

WARNING Riding with an improperly adjusted wheel quick release can allow the wheel to wobble or fall off the tricycle, which can cause serious injury or death. Therefore, it is essential that you: 1. Ask your Taga reseller to help you make sure you know how to install and remove your wheels safely. 2. Understand and apply the correct technique for clamping your wheel in place with a quick release. 3. Each time, before you ride the tricycle, check that the wheel is securely clamped.
Step 2: Assembling the main frame 1. Open the frame quick release lever FIG 08 . 2. Hold the rear frame with the rear wheel facing up and gently slide its tube onto the converter joint tube FIG 08 . 3. Make sure you press the security pin, allowing the tube to slide all the way down FIG 08 . 4. Make sure the security pin is positioned in the frame hole. Tighten the fastening clamp with the screw and close the lever FIG 09 .
WARNING high pressure is required when closing the lever. If closing is easy, open the lever, tighten the nut by rotating it clockwise and close the lever again FIG 09 .
5. Tilt the stroller to its normal position (all 3 wheels on the ground).
Step 3: Assembling the steering posts 1. Remove the packaging material that holds the steering post to the rear frame. 2. Insert the steering posts to their location and make sure they are positioned at right angles, as shown FIG 10 .

3. Make sure the cables go directly from the frame to the handles. 4. Secure the handles with the quick release lever FIG 10 . If it is too easy to close, adjust the nut and close the lever again.
Step 4: Changing to tricycle mode 1. Push the converter joint safety slider and open the converter joint lever FIG 11 . 2. Hold the mud guard’s handle with your left hand and the left steering handle with your right hand. Pull the mud guard handle and lead the rear frame above and around the converter joint until it touches the ground on the other side FIG 12 . Please notice that the mud guard rotates around the wheel. Use it to make the rotation easier. Make sure it clicks to the magnet on the other side when completing the rotation. 3. Lock the converter joint lever. You should hear a “click" FIG 13 .
WARNING Leaving the converter joint unlocked can cause injury.
Step 5: Assembling the pedals 1. Assemble the pedals to the crank arms using the Allen Key provided . FIG 14
CAUTION The left pedal has a circumferential groove close to the pedal thread. Make sure to assemble it to the left crank FIG 14 . Assembling the pedals incorrectly can damage the pedal thread.
Step 6: Adjusting the saddle 1. Open the lower lever and slide up the bottom seat post until it stops. Then close the lever firmly FIG 15 .

CAUTION If the lever is closed too easily, adjust the nut and close it again.
WARNING Do not try to slide up the seat post beyond the stopper. It is unsafe and can cause damage.
WARNING The bottom seat post should not be lowered beyond the "maximum insert" mark.
2. Open the upper lever and slide up the upper seat post until reaching the desired height. Then close the lever firmly FIG 15 .
CAUTION If the lever is closed too easily, adjust the nut and close it again.
WARNING Do not try to slide up the seat post beyond the stopper. It is unsafe and can cause damage.
CAUTION Rotation of the saddle can cause damage.
Step 7: Assembling the adapter arms 1. Hold down the arm's internal lever and press the rear button. Repeat this operation with both arms. 2. Connect the right adapter arm to the frame: Pull down the steering lock lever, place the right adapter arm in place (See mark "R") and use two screws to tighten the arm to the frame with the Allen Key provided FIG 16 .

3. Connect the left adapter arm to the frame: Pull down the steering lock lever, place the left adapter arm in place (See mark "L") and use two screws to tighten the arm to the frame with the Allen Key provided FIG 16 . 4. Pull out the rear buttons to release the internal levers.
Step 8: Assembling the underseat basket 1. Insert the basket arms into the adapter arms slots as illustrated . Slide the basket arm all the way down until locked in its FIG 17 final position.
CAUTION The basket's niche should be facing forward as shown.
Child Seat Assembly Step1: Assembling the seat handle 1. Assemble the handle with 2 screws (the screws without the blue coating), 2 nuts and 4 washers as illustrated, using a Philips screwdriver . FIG 18

2. Insert the bar’s adapters to the seat arms until you hear a “click” . FIG 19 3. Assemble the bar, the child seat frame and the two armrests together . FIG 20 4. Insert the screws and tighten them using the Allen Key FIG 20 .
CAUTION Make sure the bar is connected to the frame from the front.
Step 3: Assembling the footrest 1. Place the footrest on the child seat frame FIG 21 . 2. Insert two screws as shown and tighten them using a Philips screwdriver FIG 21 .
CAUTION Make sure the footrest is connected to the frame from the front.
Step 4: Assembling the seat fabric 1. Release the Velcro straps that hold the seat bottom (used for packaging), rotate the seat bottom and position it in its place. 2. Fit the upper side of the fabric on the top of the frame FIG 22 . 3. Insert the upper harness straps into the upper strap slots FIG 23 . 4. Insert the side harness straps through the side slots FIG 23 . 5. Insert the lower part of the fabric unit behind the footrest FIG 24 . 6. Insert the 2 bottom Velcro straps between the footrest and the bottom tube and tighten them around the tube FIG 24 . 7. Tighten the 3 Velcro straps around the middle rod FIG 24 . 8. Tighten the 2 middle Velcro straps around the side frame FIG 24 .

Step 5: Assembling the seat stand 1. Spread the stand poles slightly and insert the pins into the holes one by one, as illustrated, until you hear a “click” FIG 25 . Note the orientation of the stand as shown in the figure.
CAUTION Spreading the stand too much will damage it’s elasticity.
Step 6: Assembling the harness 1. Insert the side strap into the buckle slots FIG 26 . 2. Slide the strap through the sleeves in the strap covers. 3. Attach the strap to the upper buckle as illustrated and adjust it . FIG 26
Step 7: Assembling the hood 1. Attach the hood plastic adapter to the child seat frame as shown . Make sure that the adapter orientation fits the frame FIG 27 orientation and that the rear part of the hood is positioned behind the head cushion. 2. Connect the snaps at the rear part of the hood to the buttons in the rear of the child seat fabric FIG 28 .
Step 8: Installing the child seat 1. Install the child seat to the adapter arm, in the rear position, until you hear a “click” FIG 29 .
WARNING in a riding mode the child seat should be always installed in the rear position FIG 29 . Do not install it in the front position.

Step 4 Hold the left handle bar with your left hand. Push the converter joint safety button with your right hand and open the converter joint lever FIG 34 .
Step 5 While holding the handle bar with your left hand, pull the rear mud guard handle with your right hand and lead the rear wheel to the front, using the rotating mud guard. Make sure the mud guard connects to the magnet on the frame at the end of the way. A "Click" should be heard FIG 35 .

CAUTION Step 1-7 should take 20-30 seconds after having practiced a few times. If it takes significantly more, see your local reseller for advice.

Step 3 While holding the left handle bar with your right hand, pull the front mud guard handle with your left hand and lead the rear wheel to the rear using the rotating mud guard. Make sure the mud guard connects

Step 5 Open the lower lever on the seat post and slide up the bottom seat post until it stops. Then close the lever. Open the upper lever and slide up the upper seat post until reaching the desired height. Then close the lever FIG 42 .
CAUTION Do not try to slide up the seat posts beyond the stoppers. It can cause damage.
Step 6 CAUTION Make sure the arm adapters are in straight position before installing the child seat FIG 43 .

WARNING in riding mode the child seat should be installed in the rear position. It is dangerous to install it in the front position.

Riding Taga Taga allows you to ride easily and safely with your child while carrying groceries or personal items, turning every journey into an adventure Enjoy the ride!
Safety Check: Before every ride or if you feel something is wrong with your Taga, check the following: Squeeze the rear brake and push Taga forward while pressing the saddle. The rear wheel rotates? Time to adjust the rear brake. See your local reseller or check the maintenance section. Squeeze the front brakes and push Taga forward - Taga moves forward or to one side? Time to adjust the brakes or level them. See your local reseller or check the maintenance section. Squeeze the front brakes again and rock Taga forward and back. Everything feel solid? If you feel a clunk with each forward or backward movement of Taga, you probably have a loose headset or converter joint. Have your reseller check it. Please inspect the brake pads at regular intervals to ensure safe operation of the braking system. When friction material has worn down to 1.0mm please replace with Taga approved brake pads When standing on a flat surface, swing the handles from side to side as if you are steering. Feel smooth? If you feel any binding or roughness in the steering, you may have a tight headset. Have your reseller check it. Open and close the converter joint. Feels loose or too easy to close? Have your reseller check it. Grab one pedal and rock it toward and away from the centerline of the Taga; then do the same with the other pedal. Anything feel loose? If so, have your reseller check it. Carefully check the control cables and cable housings. Any rust? Kinks? Fraying? If so, have your reseller replace them. Tilt the saddle to the sides. Does it moves freely from side to side? Open the quick release lever on the frame connection clamp, fasten the nut and close the lever again using force. Problem still remains? Let your local reseller check it Turn to second gear by rotating the shifter until the mark faces the

digit "2". Look at the gear controller at the rear of the tricycle (located on the rear wheel axle, at the end of the chain guard). Is the yellow spot located between the two yellow lines? If not, see your local reseller for gear adjustment or check the maintenance section. Squeeze each adjoining pair of spokes on either side of each wheel between your thumb and index finger. Do they all feel about the same? If any feel loose, have your reseller check the wheel for tension and trueness. Check to make sure that all parts and accessories are still secure, and tighten any which are not. Specifically check the brakes, pedals, gear, converter joint, quick release levers, child seat, child seat safety harness, steering arms, steering rod and all nuts and bolts. See maintenance section for more details Check the frame, particularly in the area around all tube joints; check the handlebars; the rims, the stem; and the seat post for any deep scratches, cracks or discoloration. These are signs of stress-caused fatigue and indicate that a part is at the end of its useful life and needs to be replaced. Contact your reseller in case something seems wrong or if you are not sure.
First Ride: Please notice that Taga is a tricycle and thus behaves differently than a two-wheel bicycle when riding it. Ride it carefully, especially on turns. To improve stability, slow down before turning and lean your body in the direction of the turn. In order to get used to ride on Taga, ride the first several times without a child and place a heavy bag on the child seat instead of a child. Then use it without the bag for several rides. Mount a child on Taga only after you feel safe and comfortable with the ride. The underseat basket includes a special balancing weight. The weight improves the riding stability, especially when learning to ride Taga. Make sure you use it.
Adjusting the saddle Use the seat post quick release levers to adjust the saddle height. The bottom seat post should be all the way up. The upper seat post should be positioned to your desired height.

Fastening the child harness Push both waist buckle ends into the crotch buckle.
WARNING Always use the crotch strap in conjunction with the waist belt
Adjusting the child harness Slide the straps through the upper buckles so that the strap will fit firmly.
Braking Use the left brake lever to control the front brakes. Use the right brake lever to control the rear brake. In the UK, Ireland, Japan, Hong-Kong, Singapore, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, the left brake lever controls the rear brake and the right brake lever controls the front brakes.
Applying the parking brake For parking brake - hold the brake lever and press the button. Press the lever again to release it FIG 44 .
Changing gear drives Rotate the gear shifter on the handle to shift gears while riding.
Changing child seat positions To change the child seat inclining position, simply push the tilt push button with both hands simultaneously while pulling the front part of the adapting arms FIG 45 . The child seat will be slightly reclined.
Riding without a child seat When the child seat is not in place, the steering is being locked (to enable easy strolling when in stroller mode).

Strolling with Taga
WARNING Do not ride Taga when the steering is locked. It is dangerous.
In order to release the steering, hold down the internal levers in the arm adapters and press the arms' rear buttons. Make sure to pull the buttons out before converting Taga to its stroller mode.
Strolling with Taga With Taga you can stroll around the city, do shopping, take a ride on a train, use elevators or ascend stairs. Your child can enjoy a comfortable and safe seat and sleep in it on the way. Have a great time strolling with Taga!
CAUTION The child seat is designed for use by one child only

Changing child seat positions To change the child seat inclining position, simply push the tilt push button with both hands while simultaneously pulling the front part of the adapting arms FIG 46 .
Folding the hood To fold the hood, slide the hood adapters upward on the child seat frame, push the hood backward and when fully folded, slide it down again, so the hood arcs are located between the head cushion and the seat handle arms FIG 47 .
Storage In order to store Taga in a car trunk or at home, Taga needs to be disassembled to 4-6 parts (depends on the storage space). Start the process from the riding mode.
Step 1: Lowering the saddle Open both quick release levers in the seat post and lower the saddle all the way down FIG 48 . Close the quick release levers when done.

Step 3: Tilting the arm adapters Use the push buttons on the arm adapters to change their position downward by 90 degrees, until you hear a “click� FIG 50 .

Step 5: Dismantling the steering post Use the steering post quick release lever to remove the steering post that has the gear shifter. Attach the steering post to the rear frame by

positioning the steering handle in the mud guard handle FIG 52 . This operation enables you to disconnect the two parts of the frame (see next step).
Step 6: Dismantling the rear frame Open the frame connector lever. Push the safety pin and pull the rear frame from the front frame FIG 53 .
Step 7: Arranging the storage space Put the rear frame in the storage. Position the front frame on top of it, so that the arm adapters and the wheels touch the ground FIG 54 . Position the basket and the child seat in the remaining spaces.
CAUTION position the parts in a way that they don’t touch each other, to avoid scratching. In case of small storage space, use a foam pad or blanket to separate between the parts.
Optional: Dismantling the wheels Open the front wheels quick release lever and pull the wheels out . FIG 55
Optional: Dismantling the left steering post If your storage space is very small, use the steering post quick release lever to remove the left steering post FIG 56 .
Preventive Maintenance Service Intervals Some service and maintenance can and should be performed by the owner. It requires no special tools or knowledge beyond what is presented in this manual. The following are examples of the type of service you can, in most cases, perform yourself. All other service, maintenance and repair should be performed in a properly equipped facility by a qualified bicycle mechanic using the correct tools and procedures specified by Taga.

1. Break-in Period: Your Taga will last longer and work better if you break it in before riding it hard. Control cables and wheel spokes may stretch when a new Taga is first used and may require readjustment by your reseller. The Safety Check (see "riding Taga" section) will help you identify some things that need readjustment. But even if everything seems fine to you, it’s best to take your Taga back to the reseller for a 30 day checkup. Another way to judge when it’s time for the first checkup is to bring Taga in after several days of hard use. But if you think something is wrong with the Taga, take it to your reseller before riding it again. 2. Before every ride: Perform Safety Check (see "Riding Taga" section) 3. After every long or hard ride: if your Taga has been exposed to water or grit or at least every 100 miles: Clean Taga and lightly oil the chain and the cables. Wipe off excess oil. See lubrication section below.
Inflating the Wheels Use a regular bicycle air pump to inflate the wheels. Check the pressure limit stamped on the tire.
Lubrication We recommend that you see your local reseller for all lubricants. The chain should be lubricated once in 3 months using a standard bicycle chain lube. The access to the chain is between the rear edge of the chain guard and the rear wheel. The brake and gear cables should be lubricated every 6-12 months using 2-3 drops of cables oil. Lubrication is a function of climate. Talk to your reseller about the best lubricants and the recommended lubrication frequency for your area.
Adjusting the brakes WARNING 1. Riding with improperly adjusted brakes or worn brake pads is dangerous and can result in serious injury or death. 2. Disc brakes can get extremely hot with extended use. Be careful not to touch a disc brake until it has had plenty of time to cool.

WARNING Below you can find explanations how to adjust the brakes. However, it is highly recommended that you ask your local authorized reseller for help with the adjustment and/or replacement of the brakes.
Adjusting the front braking system - Lever adjustment FIG 57 1. Release the nut. 2. Adjust the screw to tighten or slacken both front wheels brakes. 3. Refasten the nut. Leveling of the front braking system - Caliper adjustment FIG 58 1. Release the nut with a wrench 2. Adjust the screw to tighten or slacken each front brake until both brakes have the same braking level. You can test it by applying the lever, pushing the tricycle forward and slowly releasing the lever. If the tricycle turns to one side, it means that the opposite side needs to be tightened. 3. Refasten the nut with a wrench. 4. Make sure that the parking brake holds the tricycle in place while applied. If not, adjust the lever or the calipers. Adjusting the rear braking system - Lever adjustment 1. Release the nut. 2. Adjust the screw to tighten or slacken the brake. 3. Refasten the nut.

Adjusting the gear If your gear makes noises or changes gears unexpectedly (while the shifter remains on the same gear), it means that it needs adjustment. Adjusting the Taga gear is easy and takes few seconds. However - It is highly recommended that you take your Taga to your local reseller for gear adjustment.

1. Turn to second gear by rotating the shifter until the mark faces the digit "2" FIG 61 . 2. Look at the little window on the gear controller (located on the rear wheel axle, at the end of the mud guard). Is the yellow spot located between the two yellow lines? FIG 62 3. If not, adjust the gear FIG 62 : a. Release the nut using a wrench. b. Adjust the screw to move the yellow spot until it is located between the two yellow lines. c. Refasten the nut. 4. If the gear seems adjusted but the problem still persists, see your local reseller.
Adjusting the Chain Tension

If you hear noises from your chain guard, the chain might loose and require adjustment.
CAUTION Below you can find explanations how to adjust the chain tension. However, it is highly recommended that you ask your authorized reseller for help with the adjustment of the chain tension.
1. Remove the gear controller by releasing the screw that attaches it to the axle 2. Slacken the rear wheel nuts slightly with a wrench, but do not remove them. 3. Tighten the screws of the chain tensioners with a wrench by half a turn or 180 degrees to tighten the chain. 4. Check that the pedals turn freely with no resistance in the rotation. If you feel resistance, the chain is too tight. In that case loosen the screws of the chain tensioners by quarter of a turn or 90 degrees. 5. Fasten the nuts 6. Reattach the gear controller to the axle and fasten the screw
Taga Stroller Alignment If Taga, in strolling mode, doesn't move in a straight line, the front wheel might not be aligned. Please see your local reseller for wheel alignment

Adjusting the Converter Joint If opening and closing of the Converter joint is too difficult or too easy, see your local reseller for converter joint adjustment
Checking nuts, screws and other fasteners Please use the correct torque (tightening force) for the fasteners on your Taga: Saddle screw: 17Nm Front wheel nut: 21Nm Rear Wheel nut: 21Nm To correctly torque a fastener, a torque wrench must be used. A professional bicycle mechanic with a torque wrench should torque the fasteners on your Taga. If you need to make an adjustment at home or in the field, we urge you to exercise care, and to have the fasteners you worked on checked by your reseller as soon as possible.
WARNING Correct tightening force on fasteners - nuts, bolts, screws on your Taga is important. Too little force and the fastener may not hold securely. Too much force, and the fastener can strip threads, stretch, deform or break. Either way, incorrect tightening force can result in component failure, which can cause you to loose control and fall.
Taga Replacement Parts: WARNING Only Taga original replacement parts should be used. Taga will not accept any failure or claim in the event that original parts were not used.
Contact your authorized reseller for any replacement or purchase of parts.
Cleaning Clean the Taga regularly, using a moist cloth and mild cleaning agent.

Fabric Cleaning The child seat fabric is detachable from the seat frame and may be washed in a washing machine. See “child seat assembly� section in this user manual and follow steps 4-7 backwards in order to remove the fabric from the seat. Remove the wooden part from the seat bottom and the plastic part from the head cushion before washing. The hood fabric can also be removed and washed in a washing machine. Remove all plastic parts before washing. The basket can be only washed by hand.

(hereinafter: "Taga") supplies the Taga vehicle (hereinafter: "product") under warranty, subject to the following conditions: In order to activate your warranty, please visit our website, www.taga.nl., and fill out the warranty card. The warranty automatically applies to every Taga purchase. The warranty is valid in the continent of purchase only The warranty covers any manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, for product used in normal conditions and in compliance with operating instructions. The warranty period is one year. The warranty period shall never be extended, even in the event of repairs being made. To request repairs under the warranty for defects in materials and workmanship, you must present proof of purchase, made within the 12 months preceding the service request and fill in the warranty card in our web site www.taga.nl No warranty will be provided in the following circumstances: The warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, accident, or negligence. Examples include wheels and fabric worn down by regular use and the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use. The warranty does not cover abusive use, negligence, or the consequences of failing to comply with the operating instructions supplied with the Taga. The warranty does not cover any repairs made after 12 months from date of purchase. Service
If your product fails due to a manufacturing or workmanship defect, our first option will be to repair the item, free of charge. If the product is not reparable, or if the cost of repairing the item exceeds the cost of a new one, it will be replaced by another Taga part of the same model, or if not available, by the closest model and available color.
