CASTELO BRANCO

CASTELO BRANCO Not too big, not too small, Castelo Branco is a town well worth knowing. District capital of Castelo Branco, it's located in the center of our country, in the Beira Interior region, with about 34 000 inhabitants in its urban area. Castelo Branco has many beautiful sights and it is well worth the effort to climb the steep streets in oldtown, up to the Castle keep, to take in the vastness of the surrounding landscape.
