One of the things that makes me excited as the fall sale season starts is knowing that soon everyone will be heading to Louisburg, Kansas. I hope that you and your family will choose to be with us this year at the 13th annual Head of the Class sale. It seems like yesterday that the Head of the Class sale hosted their first event, and it is even more exciting to see the evolution of the operations involved with the sale. DP Sales Management along with Steve and Margaret Sanders invite you to be with us on September 26th. This year at the Head of the Class you will have a special opportunity to select from several members of the Cottontail family. The largest offering to date from this top notch cow family. You can choose that special donor, a bred, sexed pregnancies and even IVF heifer embryos. As you will notice thru the catalog Bill Fulton and his crew are strong on numbers with loads of quality. His new herd sire W/C BF Innocent Man did an exceptional job. Look for a consistent set of show prospects. Sanders Ranch is a cooperator herd for Hudson Pines and they will be selling a few more lots this year. We hope the HPF numbers grow in the future at the Head of the Class. Wesner Livestock is offering members of the Cottontail, Crocus, Amazing Grace and 770 cow families. There have always been a few changes at the Head of the Class however Steve always says first and fore most the quality will always remain the same. The same rules applies as in the previous sales, sell your best and the Sanders crew will roll out the hospitality This is the place to come and select your next show calf for AJSA events. The breds are outstanding as usual. At the 2015 sale you will find many unique packages of genetics that many will find appealing and beneficial for any program. As Darrin said in the first footnote - we are dissolving a partnership. I have been partners with Pine Ridge Simmentals for over ten years, and Larry Rodgers has been great to work with. Larry has decided to get out of the cattle business for good, and therefore, we are selling all of the Sanders Ranch/Pine Ridge cattle.
