Welcome
The North American International Livestock Exposition is a very special time of year in the beef cattle industry. Many compare it to the Super Bowl, but its even bigger than that. The Super Bowl brings only two teams to compete; at the NAILE you are talking numerous breeds of cattle all walking on the green shavings with the hopes to be crowned the champion. We gather in New Market Hall on Monday night with some of the top breeders and genetics in the breed. Throughout these pages lies some of the most progressive, most noted, and most sought after genetics in our breed. They have been bred, selected, and brought to one of the most noted stages for your appraisal. It’s a stage that gets even the most seasoned breeder excited. It’s the NAILE, and it only happens once a year. The sale aisle will be buzzing on Monday afternoon with hungry buyers looking for that one special animal that can take their program to the next level. This year, more than ever, is a offering that brings the strongest cross section of Simmental genetics. No matter your need - this sale can fulfill it. Contact the consignors and let them tell you about program and their lot. They are proud to be bringing them to this stage. If its time to make a serious investment for your program, look no further than the NAILE Select Sale. Join us where the lights are bright, the shavings are green, and the offering is epic!

We always look forward to bringing something special to the North American Sale and this year we have decided to offer 1/2 embryo interest in the most special young female we have. It goes without saying that this full sister to WLE Uno Mas is a genetic gem that with the passing of her immortal mother, Shawnee Miss 770P, will be impossible to re-create. Show champions, donor cows, and high impact sires from this line are well documented and we feel this young lady maybe the best one yet! It will be our pleasure to work with our new partner on choosing matings that may well alter the course of SimGenetics in the future. We can’t wait to get started!!!!

When we put our sale at home together this fall we were anxious to offer this elite female in our own event. However, as many of you do know her dam WLE Missy U409 is a full sister to Uno Mas and U409 herself sold right here in the exact ring in 2014 for $42,000 to Brandon Bird of Lubbock TX a few hours after her daughter was named Grand Champion SimSolution Female for the Ostrom family. What a better place to offer this amazing purebred female. This female is silky smooth in her skeleton and carries herself with power and elegance when you put her on the move. 744E possesses sweeping rib and tremendous volume, while providing enough length to show she will be a contender at any level. Great Broker females are Great Broker females and 744E fits in with that group. One of the best comments we can make in this footnote would be – She acts like her mother! 744E is a pleasure to work with and will be a fun project for any breeder wishing to compete at the highest level.

Your work here is done! Settle in and buy a full sister to the popular 2014 SimSolution female here at the NAILE. Her dam is the famous WLE Missy U409 who is undoubtedly one of the most productive daughters of the now deceased Shawnee Miss 770P. U409 was the subject of heated bidding here in this ring in 2014 commanding $42,000 after the dust settled and she now resides in Lubbock Texas with Brandon Bird where she continues her legacy. 707E carries the body and design of her now famous siblings and dam. We were impressed with DAJS Shockwave in the stalls at this very show when we decided to explore this mating. 707E will be a cornerstone type female when the show halter is retired and should be considered a keen investment by any cattleman.

WLE Miss U409 - ref. dam

In the 2014 sale we selected WLE Missy U409 and were very serious about adding a big time breeding piece. Well, she had many friends and commanded $42,000 that day. The 770P cow family continues to flourish and be one of the main stay cow families in the breed today. Missy U409 is quite impressive as an individual and will be an asset to our Texas program for many years to come. It actually is easy to figure out the leading and predictable cows just keep up with the daughters and sibs. This is why in our program we have more Simmental genetics today. We are offering embryos with the proper guarantees by Broker and the Secret Weapon x Card Uproar son, DMCC Counter Attack. Study the family history, the record prices and the long list of show winnings. We will like see some other family members in this elite sale. Consignor: Bird Cattle Company
We purchased Z4293 at last years NAILE sale with Hilltop and there hasn’t been a female here at Tylertown that has got us this excited. It don’t get much better than this Built Right x 770P. For those who wasn’t at the sale last year Z4293 has brood cow and elegance written all over, she carries her mass on a big sound foot, and has a picture perfect udder. Missy has been awful generous in embryo transfer allowing us to offer this pregnancy by 20-20, which has struck the breed with his calf reports and awesome pedigree. To top it all off the recip is baldy purebred Simmy that has some North American history as well. She would be a daughter of KenCo Glamorous 430W that sold in this very ring going to BF Simmentals that commanded $19,000. The recip 614A is a fronted pasture type cow and has a lot of genetic potential in her own right. We are Offering big time genetic package for our first NAILE consignment.

We continue to be devoted to bringing our best genetics to the NAILE sale and we believe this Breez x Uprising pregnancy may be the very best yet. The history and predictability that comes with this pedigree is second to none. With legends like Knockout 74T and Serena as cornerstones, how can one go wrong? As our good friends at Clearwater and myself sorted through mating options, Uprising came to the forefront in no time. Combining Breez with the superior show heifer making bull Uprising was a very easy decision. With wins at Denver, Ft Worth, Iowa State Fair, Eastern Regional and the list goes on, its hard to dispute Uprising makes more winning Purebreds than any other bull availability right now. Heifer pregnancy is due 1/29 and comes riding in a big stout soggy Recip. Consignor: Clearwater

B&K Knockout 113E is a beautiful April heifer calve we can’t wait to bring out for your evaluation. 113E is really long necked, great on the move, massive in her rib shape, and combines the pedigree and the look of a champion we all desire while in the show ring as well as our donor pen. 113E is out of the 20/20 Hartman sire that has sired many sale toppers across the country and out of the famed HPF/Bourne Knockout Y030 donor that topped the Living Legacy Sale last fall at $65,000 purchased by our friends at Shoal Creek in Missouri. We could write a book on what effect Y030 has done for our program as well as many of the elite programs across the country. If you are in the market for your next champion or a program changing donor female, I strongly encourage you to come to the North American and check this female out we think you will like what you see. The amount of space needed to write a complete description of Miss Knockout 74T’s impact on the breed would take several pages. She was the national champion cow, won NAILE and American Royal. Her offspring continue to be high sellers in sales. The real proof of her value is in the pasture, in the show ring, in the sale arenas, and her daughters. After this year’s calves are all registered she should be in the top 15 of the most prolific donor cows of the breed. We’re offering two daughters by two young sires that really worked well with Miss Knockout 74T. RRCC Golden Jubilee 48E (ASA# 3268324) is rocket-fronted and will bring home lots of gold in the future for her new owner. You will love her structure and design. There have been full sibs to this heifer bring five figures this fall. This mating of Miss Knockout 74T and Loaded Up is very special. Consignor: 102

This heifer is so soft at the ground and on a great big foot, structurally perfect!! Very elegant looking, nice long neck, bold ribs, and plenty of depth. This heifer will compete in the show ring and will make a killer donor in the end.

Here is a rare opportunity at one of the few 606Z daughters, sired by one of todays hottest Angus sires. She is whale bellied, giraffe necked, and ties it all together in such a smooth feminine package. She is granddaughter of one of the most influential cows of the breed, Cinderella. Her dam, 606Z was a many time champion and really starting to perform in the donor pen. CampbellCo Valentina, her maternal sib was recently named champion percentage female at the 2017 World Beef Expo. Her other Maternal sib sired by Silveiras Style 9303, won the calf division at both the 2017 Ohio State Fair & World Beef Expo. Come see the sibs in our stalls, and don’t miss out sale day!

Sparkle is a heifer for sure to catch your eye! This stunning baldy heifer is a full sister to the heifer Jones sold a couple years back for 80k that the Muir family went onto campaign very successfully and win the Ohio State Fair! We all know how well the High Regard females work, now cross that with a Steel Force daughter backed by the infamous She’s So Sweet donor and now you have something great! 3AD is wide made, good legged, giraffe fronted, and moves on a flexible skeleton. Take her home, breed her and make her your lead donor, your banker will thank you! Retaining one successful flush at buyers convenience and sellers expense. Consignor: Klopfenstein

Miss Hoya Saxa needs no introduction; a daughter of the deceased RC Miss Kansa 028T, that hung banner-after-banner and now has her progeny hanging their own. This daughter of hers, well, she needs no introduction either; claiming calf champion honors at the 2017 IL State Fair in her only appearance thus far. It won’t be stopping there however! Buckle up & enjoy the ride because they don’t make them like this every day. Dr. Rayfield referred to her as “incredible” amongst other adjectives, and he was dead on there! Astonishing in her front 1/3, plenty of rib, plenty of power, yet sexy & near heart stopping on the profile. We had a long line of interested parties at her debut & we couldn’t think of a better way to offer her to the masses to allow all their shot! You don’t see them build like this very often-don’t miss your shot!

These Style daughters continue to dominate the show ring & have begun to lead in the donor pen; and this percentage stand-out will be no different. We decided to flush Miss Hoya Saxa to a few percentage matings, and we hit a home run here! The progeny from this mating continue to gain steam as they mature, and we look forward to what the future holds. Built the way you need them from the ground up, with plenty of swoop to her belly line, just the right muscle shape, and a stunning view from the side. Everyone that has been by this summer has just loved this female. 703E is offers a big middle, is super soft made, and just so sound when put into movement. She goes back to a cow that we own that simply never misses. Her mother had a awesome show career with making top 10 at junior nationals as a fall calf and as a bred along with many more banners along the way. Don’t forget she is sired by the past North American champion Blaze of Glory that has cow family’s stacked in his pedigree. Just take a look at 703E’s maternal sib also selling in this sale at Lot 13 and you will see what kind of a powerhouse you will have on your hand next year.

When we purchased Kenya from Indian creek, as a proven donor, EU16 is the type of female we envisioned making big bodied, big hipped and really functional in structure. This beautiful baldy was stowed away in the replacement pen with no intention to sale, but we knew we needed to bring a head turner if we were going to put stock in this great sale. EU16 is a full sister to the 2 time Kentucky State Fair champion IC Kentana. She is bred up with sexed optimizer heifer semen to calve in early January, so it should not take her new owners long to start collecting from there smart investment. A picture is worth a thousand words. This cow has enough mile to raise three calves. Always the heaviest among contemporary, always with that ever elusive quality it takes to run the race in the seedstock/show cattle sector. Phenotypically she is a close to a really good Angus as it gets. Better yet, shes a half blood and we got you one generation closer. This 2 year old has a long life ahead of her. Recently calved to HPF Optimizer with a stunning heifer calf on her side. Selling open and ready to flush. Planned for our enjoyment. Let your imagination work here, because this one will make it big!

When we bought Don’t Doubt Me as a high selling bred in the 2012 North American Select Simmental Sale, we knew she was going to make a tremendous cow in production and boy, she has not disappointed. Easy fleshing, massive middled and super correct in her skeletal design, Don’t Doubt Me has done well in our ET program, producing calves with performance and style. It’s not easy to find Power Drive females anymore, much less a beautiful homo polled and homo black one! If you are looking for an outcross donor that can step in and immediately make a big impact on your program, Don’t Doubt Me is the perfect candidate for the job! Sells bred up early to W/C Relentless but to sweeten the pot, Don’t Doubt Me will sell with 2 embryos by CCF Vision and 2 embryos by Sandeen Upper Class. It is only fitting to offer a flush out of Bramlet Beautiful Y100. In the 2012 sale Shelby Ison selected Y100 and then went to showing her across the country. After much success in the show ring, we have been assisting Shelby in the ET process and this donor is working well plus is having progeny with the Wow factor. That all makes sense because this is a proven cow and cow family. We have sold numerous high sellers out of the Select sale, actually Y100 grand dam, SVF Sheza Classic was purchased out of the 2003 sale. This fall the Gilbert family is showing a Grand Fortune daughter and has earned the following, 3rd Overall Ozark Empire Jackpot, 8th Overall AJSA Nationals, Supreme Monroe County Fair, 5th Overall Sweepstakes, Reserve LOL open show IL state fair and Supreme DuQuion and Res Division at the World Beef Expo. Selling an IVF Cycle for the bull of your choice. Call if you have any questions on the flush. In the diverse breed we have today, the opportunities are endless. HPF Queen Supreme X321 was the 2011 Knic Overpeck Supreme Champion at the Simmental Breeders Sweepstakes and is a vital part of our donor battery. WHAM BAM, YES MA’AM! Take a look at this creature. We have waited until we had the “one” to represent Riley Farms where the lights are the brightest and the stage is the biggest. Well folks, here she is! From the day this one was born, we knew she was the one to put us on the map. I joke about always referring to her as “creature” BUT damn, how else would a person describe her impeccable build, obnoxious center body depth, bone column more likely seen on a club calf, mass all the way through, motoring abilities out of this world and would you believe she still looks like a lady is supposed to up through her neck and head?! You better start believing it’s possible to have all that shoved into one package because she is living proof of it. Superb pedigree backing here too with the ever popular and hard to get Hammer as well as the tried and true matron, Hart Hollywood Queen; I don’t think anyone could do justice in telling just how impactful she has been in the Simmental circle over the years. She consistently stamps out progeny with added quality and keeps numbers in check that give a person plenty of mating flexibility. Jolene comes to you from the very top of the keeper pen and quite simply has all the makings of a great one! She proved at an early age the show ring is a place to shine as she was named Calf Champion at the Simmental Breeders Sweepstakes this summer. I have no doubt, her show ring success will continue however, her place is in the donor battery. If your long-term plan is being a serious contender in the cattle business, I’d strongly suggest this female be at the top of your short list come sale day. Riley Farms will retain HALF EMBRYO INTEREST in this female. Call for details. Consignor: Riley

E702 is a soft-pastured, big middle, extra long-fronted Loaded-Up daughter that will impress you from every angle. She is elegant on the move, great in her lines, and super stout from the ground up. Midnight Dream is the first calf to sell at auction out of K-LER Cash Flow. Her maternal sib was shown successfully in Canada and won the Canadian Jr. Simmental show for the Scotts family. This Midnight Dream is one that glides when set in motion, has impeccable structure for a purebred, and along with that she great haired. She won her class at Iowa and Minnesota State fairs where she had many friends that admired her structural correctness. Midnight Dream has the structure and design to be very competitive in the show ring for her next owner. This beautiful Carver daughter just might be his first progeny to sell and talk about starting it out with flare. Slow Burn is everything we expected when we mated these two together. She’s powerfully constructed with a huge rib, wide top and big foot yet ties it all together in a long sided package that is so beautifully extended through her front 1/3. Carver is the $34,000 high selling bull from Kearns Cattle Company selected by Heartland Simmentals, Kappes Simmentals, R&R Cattle Co., Rust Mountain View Ranch and Rocky Knoll. He was also the lead off bull in their 2016 National Western Grand Champion Pen of 3 bulls and one of the favorites in the yards that year. Cool Burn had a pretty good 2016 herself, being named the Reserve Champion Simmental at the Iowa Beef Expo and Grand Champion Simmental at the MN State Fair. Selling as a top lot in the Jewels of the Northland Sale for a total valuation of $27,000, we are super excited about what she has to offer our programs. She is huge footed, big bodied and has one of the most beautiful rear legs you could put together. A full sister to Cool Burn, HS Cool Baby, sold in the NAILE sale last year to Hudson Pines Farm for $23,000. Slow Burn started her show career out standing 2nd in a pretty tough class at the Iowa State Fair this past summer. She’s got growth EPDs in the top 25% of the breed combined with a pedigree that carries some of the top cows in the industry, you can be assured this sweet lady will be a valuable asset to any program.

IVS/JJ/B&K Love Me 338E is one we feel is a really good one. We feel 338E is so complete from end to end being big middled, long fronted, and a near perfect structure. 338E is a Santa Fe out of our newest donor HPF RIGHT TO LOVE Z338 which is a full sister to HPF Quantum Leap and Lover Boy both of which were Denver Champion Bulls and she created quite a stir with her first set of E.T. calves last year at the North American and Denver. We truly feel this female will compete on any level in the show ring and create a lot of excitement for her new owner in the donor pen. If you are in the market for a big time female come to the North American and take this one home. Seller’s are retaining 1 successful flush with a minimum of 6 transferable embryos to be completed with in the next 2 years at the buyers convenience and the sellers expense. Consignor: B&K

Where do I start with this female? She is the result of a great cow family and out of a young Angus donor we purchased from Express Ranches, Big Event Sale in the fall of 2013. 518D is full of cow power with numbers that rank in the top percentile of the Simmental breed but still possesses that cool show ring look that’s been hanging banners for Jordan all summer. 518D started the year off at the Kentucky State Simmental Show as Champion Percentage Heifer, then on to Eastern Regionals in London, Ohio to be Champion Bred and Owned. Her maternal sister 457C was third overall at Eastern Regionals as well. Then it was onto the National Classic in Mississippi where she was 9th overall in the Bred and Owned Show. After a short break, it was back to Louisville to the Kentucky State Fair where she was Reserve Champion Percentage Heifer only to her maternal sister 457C who was Grand Champion Percentage Heifer and Overall Supreme Champion. 457C is in production now and is a beast of a cow. As you can see, 518D and this cow family has proven themselves time and time again. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to purchase half interest in this female and acquire the no miss genetics of this cow family. Call for any details on this great female, her future and the exciting partnership. Consignor: Stephens

Lady D016 is that late Fall with big time potential. She has the look, style, and balance to make that high impact senior yearling next spring and summer. However, even though Lady D016 has the phenotypic qualities to be big time, her genetic makeup might even be more impressive. Both her paternal and maternal grand dams need no introduction, Miss Wearing KP 8543U and Champion Hill 703. You could write a book on the impact these two have had on their breeds respectively. TNGL Gemstone A527 was the high selling bred in this very ring a couple of years ago at $20,000 from our good friends the Tingle Family. Her dam Silverstone Miss Awe goes back to the great Chyna cow that needs no explanation. Miss awe has produced many class and division winners at Louisville and Denver and most recent producing a AI sire Imprint that sold for $50,000 for 50% Gemstone A527 first offering at The Pave The Way sale sold 2 Upper Class opens for $17,000 and $8,500 respectively. Next in the ring was a choice of 3 embryos from 3 matings. Hudson Pines made a quick decision to ask to purchase all 9. The resultant was 6 pregnancies that they handily sold for a $5,500 dollars average. The last embryos to sell from A527 at Auction brought $2,400 each from Jerry Adamson. 29D comes from a family of purple banners and donor pen standouts. 29D is a granddaughter of the 2005 North American champion female, Meyers Queen Sazerac. Matter of fact Sazerac 29D has joined the ranks of many family members as well with herself claiming Grand Champion honors at this year’s Missouri State Fair. Many breeders know what this family has done and continues to do. 29D is a stout made United female that is deep and complete. To add to the package 29D is in the top 10% for weaning and in the top15% for yearling. This is some of the best from Wayward Hill. We are extremely proud of the impact of WHF Black Jasmine 240J. We have many generations from this great family and her progeny both bulls and heifers have done well for WHF and many operations across the country. If you see 240 in the pedigree you need to pay attention to quote Doug Parke. The embryos being offered by WHF would be full sibs to the most winning heifers of this show season. Chesney and the Steenhoek family have campaigned WHF Summer 365C and she has won the highly competitive shows of the Iowa Beef Expo and the Iowa State Fair. She is a great female and no doubt will make a big impact. We are offering choice of three sexed heifer embryos by CCR Wide Range and WHF Andie 365A which would be full sibs to WHF Summer 365C or three sexed heifer embryos by CDI Innovator. We are excited about the upcoming progeny by Innovator however we know with the years of genetics behind the 240 line this is a no miss. Hopefully Summer will make the trip to Louisville to walk in the green shavings. Consignor: Wayward

WOW, we’re do I start , the Built To Love resume in the show ring is too long to talk about. RP/MP Built to love A025 walked through this very sale ring, commanding top dollar going to Long Ridge Farm. Her flush mate A021, just commanded $40,000 at the circle m dispersal this summer. After we acquired this young donor A025, we went straight to work producing IVF eggs by two of the hottest sires in the industry, Mr. CCF 20-20 and TKCC Classified, now it up to you to choose which mating will put you in front of the backdrop. Selling three embryos of your choice guaranteeing one pregnancy if a licensed and certified embryologist is used. Consignor: Kaiser

Here is an opportunity that has not come around until now!! We are offering 3 SEXED IVF HEIFER embryos guaranteeing 1 pregnancy if done by a certified embryologist. “Hottie herself was an embryo purchase from C&C Farms. She is a direct daughter from Sheza Fantasy. Hottie created her own place in many cattleman eyes after winning her division at the Simmental Breeders Sweepstakes. She then was named Grand Champion at the Indiana State Fair and reserve division champion at the North American. She has consistently produced many offspring from bulls to heifers that have done their share of winning. We believe that this mating to Secret Weapon will give these offspring the much added look, stoutness and uniqueness. Put yourself in the purple with this first time opportunity. Consignor: Edwards

What a mating this turned out to be, but when it happened we gave my Dad a hard time. We found out he was using Pilgrim A.I. our small group of fall heifers. Not the cheapest semen in the world to be using A.I. Well turns out he was smarter than all of us because this bull is Big Time Good. He’s a bull that will show, he has the mass, loose skeleton, & is flexible at the ground. He also makes up an attractive profile, yet has the power & depth. Chesney showed Jass Gypsy Soul in 2016 & had a great year. Now she is one of our top young donors & we’re expecting great things from her 2018 calf crop. Selling 100% Possession & 2/3 semen interest. There have not been many direct sons of Steel My Heart, but this has to be our best one yet. This purebred January bull was born small and grew quick. Boy did he pack on the pounds! We hauled him around all summer collecting supreme banners. He is impressive in his growth, muscle, phenotype and correctness, not to mention his pedigree. He’s a very complete, powerful, stylish bull. The Steel My Heart x Duracell mating has proven to be a great one. Full sibs to Vice include Sweet Emotion (who’s done a great job producing outstanding progeny for Windy Ridge and Ferguson, look them up!), and Khloe (who produced the National champion bull Blaze of Glory). We fully expect Vice to continue the tradition of producing exceptional, high dollar progeny. Great disposition. We retain 33% revenue sharing semen interest. Consignor: Happy

MG GSC Wide Body 124E Here is a super individual that is a son of Wide Body. Of course, Wide Body is deceased and the semen is limited and hard to get so invest in a son from a dependable cow. Wide Body is moderate framed, wide based, big hipped, deep sided and sound from the ground up. On the dam side, OCC Legend S12X produced the $50,000 lot 1 in the 2016 Diamonds and Spurs and this year a full sib to 124E sold for $18,000. In 2016 Circle M and Bonnell purchased S12X for $50,000. Also, this same family produced the OBCC Legend 119B that sold in the Buckles and Banners for $78,000. This is a son of a no miss cow family so there is loads of potential on this futuristic herd sire. Consignor: Gerdes

This bull has the background to be an absolute champion. His mother was a many time champion during her show career including being named supreme champion heifer at 2016 World Beef Expo Junior show. He is following in her footsteps having been named calf champion at 2017 World Beef Expo. This calf is big middled, huge topped, thick ended and yet still has that unique front one third.
