Terms of Sale All cattle will sell under the Suggested Terms and Conditions of the American Simmental Association. All purchases are to be paid for by the purchaser during or immediately after the sale and will not be released until after settlement has been made. Sale Registration and Payment All buyer numbers will only be issued with a valid ID and payment is due day of sale. DP Sales Management, LLC accepts Visa, Mastercard, check, e-check, or cash. All purchases are expected to be paid for day of sale unless arrangements have been made with sale management. Cattle will not be transferred until paid for in full. Purchases made through internet bidding follow the same terms. Payment must be completed on day of sale by credit card or e-check. Registration Certificates Cattle will be transferred to the buyer at the seller’s expense. All calves born before the sale are to be registered by the seller; calves born after the sale are to be registered by the purchaser. Buyers must be sure to furnish the sale clerk complete information for transferring of registration certificates. On behalf of the North Carolina Simmental Association and DP Sales Management, I would like to take this opportunity to invite each of you to the North Carolina “Fall Harvest” sale on Saturday, September 4th at 1:00 in Union Grove, North Carolina. The Fall Harvest will be at the Shuffler sale facility in Union Grove. Dr Shuffler has always provided a great place to have the sale and rolls out the red carpet. If you have been to the sale you are aware of the overall organization and hospitality. The North Carolina Simmental Association sales have been long time running and this is the 47th annual sale. The Association and its leadership and consignors over the years are to be commended for their support and dedication to the breed. Just think of all the Simmental history in the state of North Carolina. Come and visit about the past and help make plans for the future. Let’s all show support of the state association and continue to make Simmental one of the strongest breeds in North Carolina. This is the memberships sale so I encourage everyone to pull together to make this the best ever. There is continue growth of Sim Genetics in North Carolina and all over the U.S. The breed is experiencing loads of enthusiasm, growth and continued acceptance in all facets of the Simmentals. Remember the statement hybrid vigor is free. This year we have 5 or 6 new consignors and many which have been involved for several years. We have consignments from North Carolina and other states. Each year we have a lot of new faces to the sale and this year we have had several new breeders inquire about the sale offering. I challenge each member to invite old members and new potential breeders to this enjoyable sale event. Anyone that has attended in the past remembers the great sale atmosphere combined with the solid group of sale cattle.. Again, a special “Thank You” to Jennie Rucker, the executive secretary of North Carolina Simmental and the directors of your association. The Simmental business is good with a strong demand for Simmental bulls and Simmental influenced feeder cattle.
