Here is a half brother to the calving ease leader, ASR Augustus. Several top breeders are involved with Augustus and he continues to excel in offering calving and positive carcass traits. High Tide is homozygous polled and is definitely a great choice as a heifer bull. E7298 is in the top 1% for calving ease, top 2% for birth weight, top 2% for MCE, and in the top 15% for MM, API, and TI. Here is a worry free herd sire.

We like this guy and hope several of our customers will as well. His sire was purchased a couple years by John Cook from the Werning bull sale. This On Demand is backed by Mr Husker and good producing cow that carries the Swain prefix. This fall bull is quite impressive being super stout, good looking and complete. He is good on papers as well. Don’t overlook this guy with all the right pieces.

Clint E733 is bull worth looking up on sale day. First off, E733 is good individual that has some muscle shape, body and rib. Clint comes in a neat and well balanced package. On the bottom side E733’s dam is a full sister to SVF Allegiance which is a Genex bull that is in the top 1% for WW and YW. .Of course, the cows 29G and T18 have done a great job for many years. Clint’s sire Shell Shocked is in the top 1% for calving ease and being noticed by many breeders. Here is one that is well bred and adds value.

When you look at this baldie bull you may ask two questions. What about Shell Shocked and SR XS70. The Shell Shocked bull owned by Fenton Farms and KenCo is doing an impressive job in the US and Canada. Try him or buy this son. We purchased a BC Matrix daughter from Smith Reasor in Virginia and she is our best Sim Angus producer. E743 is packed full of red meat and muscle however has the body and spring of rib to only compliment the package. This bull has done nothing but get better and impress. E743 is in the top 4% for CE and in the top 15% for BW. We flush several cows so I guess we will have to add her to the list. Pull the Trigger.

It’s
hard to believe we are already in 2019 and making decisions for a new year of calves and sire groups. This past year several changes and opportunities have came around and we as a family and cattle operation have had to make some decisions. Kadee and I had a great opportunity to add a small place and call our new home in Worthing, South Dakota. We are just north of the sale barn and a couple miles off the interstate. We love this business and each day we learn, grow and want to supply the best genetics we can to you our customer or potential customer. We invite your inspection. We know your selection for genetics in great and many breeders have had years of bull sales whether the number is 19 years or 30 years. This is our 6th annual bull sale. We know the importance of making sound breeding decisions and planning for the future of your operation. We feel our selection improves each year and invite to stop and look when you are in the area. We are involved in the Spring Turnout female sale in May in Seward, Nebraska however encourage you to consider a member of the Turn In offering. All of the bulls have been developed at Hilltop Simmentals in Hudson, South Dakota. They have been developed on a high roughage of silage, hay oats, and a small amount of corn. We strive to raise bulls that are ready to go out and handle service with ease. Along with a solid development program, we strive to keep our bulls in excellent health as they prepare to head out to service. The end of January bulls will receive a 5 way, 7 way and poured. At the same time they will receive their Breeding Soundness Exam. The aged bulls will be Trichomoniasis tested and ready to head anywhere in the country. If you have any questions concerning their development and or health protocol please feel free to contact us. We are excited this year to be having our bull sale at the ranch and being at our new location. The sale offering can be viewed right out side the barn and will sell by video. We hope this is for your convenience and in a relaxed sitting. We strive to have a great relationship with customers in the surrounding area, and we look forward to serving them through this location for many years to come. This year we also have an addition of a select group of females to our offering. Please feel free to contact Jaron VanBeek, Craig Laackman, or Doug Parke, Drew Hatmaker or Holli Hatmaker at DP Sales Management with questions on the sale or the offering. We look forward to serving you and providing the genetics for your program. Please make a note that the sale is later in the afternoon. At Sioux Falls Regional Livestock Rob Vanhove will have the Dakota Classic at 1:00 so we are only 5 minutes from that sale facility. We invite anyone to take in both sales for a great selection of genetics. Call we will glad to help or answer any questions. Jaron VanBeek, Hilltop Simmentals DP Sales Management

Ms Jordan is the dam of ASR Augustus that was bred by Altenburg Simmentals. Over the years, Willie has bred some good bulls and females and Augustus is his favorite. Augustus is one of the top purebred calving ease bulls in the breed. Ms Jordan has years of stacking pedigrees, EPDs and data into her pedigree. The Shear Force cows continue to be a piece of the genetic puzzle and still offer genetic merit and add value. With the bulls in the industry today, Ms Jordan can be flushed many different ways to add another bull or female to her cow card. It will only take one calf to pay for Ms Jordan. Please call for past flush details. W916 is in the top 1% for CE, BW, and MCE, top 2% for MM, top 10% for REA and top 15% for API. Homozygous polled. Could be interesting calving to Olympian.
