01 Graduation Project Amman Urban Park/Performance Art Institute My Graduation Project was developed from a personal experience , after living one year abroad in Germany. I was influenced with their lifestyle in term of the public spaces and how important it is , As Urban Lung to offer visual and psychological comfort and relief, which are vital to the health and well-being of people in a high-density and congested environment like Amman. My project is an Abandoned site “King Abdullah Bin Al Hussein Complex And Public Park“ in the heart of Amman approximately 80.000 m² , close to the new Al-Abdali city center in a very busy Commercial / Residential district. My project is Urban Oriented project ,on the city and neighborhood level. I had to make social survey and persona in order to understand the context and take the right decision regarding the new program, function and the redesign of the complex with sustainable productive solutions.

Urban Sprawl
Glimpse of the site
Site Timeline
The site is located in Amman the capital and the most populous city of Jordan, and country's economic, political and cultural center, Situated in north-central Jordan. It is located in Wadi Saqra (valley) has an ancient history that testifies to the human civilization that settled in Amman since ancient times. As we can see the site is located on the intersection of four main arterial corridors, which the municipality is developing in the moment. But the site is totally neglected from the studies and plans, though it has high potentials due to it location and size.

02 Landscape The Green Loop It was a groupwork, we had to Re- designing Al Hawooz park in Jabal Amman which is an old district.to create a holistic, productive and sustainable community site that celebrates sharing, learning and enrichment. Amman Municipality has renovated the site that the park exists in and have provided it with greenery, kids playgrounds, seating areas and pedestrian walkways. The municipality used to held books exhibition at this park. Also, it has been used earlier for musical and poetic events. Video in this link https://www.youtube.com/wat ch?v=S1mbNrOm1ak

SITE ANALYSIS AND VIEWS
02 Landscape The Green Loop Basically the concept was to create a neighborhood park where urban farming is promoted and job opportunities are established to encourage green practice.

03 Mars Incubator As the AA’s second design-research programmed in Jordan focusing on Mars, we research the natural ecology of the Red Planet and speculate on the design of future interventions that couple cuttingedge technology with research into natural morphologies and phenomena on Mars. Algorithmic and computational design methods will unveil material, spatial to urban potential in design.
Mars Incubator Xuelin He, Bareqa hbeishan, Assal Hmoud, Maria Federica Puglia
It was a groupwork workshop Mars Incubator proposes semi buried units with a hexagonal programmatic connection to make colonization which penetrate into the ground of Mars by blasting it through the double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) proposed by NASA creating artificial Canyons and Craters, by that we can reach the water bases without spending a lot of time excavating for it. The idea of using local materials which already exist on Mars, using them for 3d printing construction elements transform the excavated material into the main construction material

04 International Internship OBERMEYER Planen + Beraten GmbH / Wiesbaden – Germany Frankfurt Airport is the most important airport in Germany and in Europe, they must keep their services quality high so they had to renovate the WC’s in Terminal 1 for public and for the crew . My task was to draw elevations, sections , plan and details for the interior.

04 International Internship OBERMEYER Planen + Beraten GmbH / Wiesbaden – Germany Frankfurt Airport bought new technical controlling equipment and they wanted to renovate the whole area specially the controlling rooms, so my task was to adjust the chosen material in interior shots for the controlling room with several option for the furniture and I had to make an PDF presentation for the client , I made many options and at the end they agree with this option oak and dark grey.
04 International Internship OBERMEYER Planen + Beraten GmbH / Wiesbaden – Germany Restoration OBERMEYER Planen + Beraten GmbH Headquartered München Germany. The design of the floor is an open plan with a middle core for services such as stairs, elevator and bathrooms. We had to rethink about the office open space and to provide it with meeting rooms in each floor, so my task was to redesign the meeting boxes with contrast with the surrounding area and to make Mood – board to inspire the design. So the main reason for change is the Design from the 80s / 90s Traditional, / not innovative in the architectural language /Missing or few uninviting areas of communication / Upcoming necessary fire protection renovation
05 Reviving Tensile Dubai Expo 2020 دبي إ كسبو During my exchange semester in Darmstadt Hochschule , the design project was a contribution with Dubai Expo 2020 . My idea came up since the Total area of the expo is 4.38 km2 , the sheltered area is less than the half , I start thinking about the weather and how could I reduce the high temperature in the outdoor area. So I wanted to design a futuristic tensile structure with natural plants and small water spray which visitors can interact with it and enjoy the sitting area with smooth breeze . Strategy Tensegrity (tensional integrity ) Lightweight structures have never been more contemporary and necessary than today . light, filigree and soft evokes more pleasant sensations than heavy, bulky and hard .

06 Urban Amman Station It was a Design course with a group work . Amman Station in Jordan is one of the Hijazi railway historical line between Mecca and Damascus was built in 1908, but it has stop. The station is located in Amman east area, but it is a bit poor compared to the surrounding , although it has good potentials so we have studied a proposed project by the government to address the transport issues within and between two of the largest Jordanian cities, the capital and the nearby industrial city of Zarqa (BRT bus commuter train), there are already bus stops in this area, but it is not perfectly functional and an abandoned train railway and many problems.
06 Urban Amman Station
The Path This path is already exist (Train Railway ), as we have a stop for the train at the platform , passengers have the opportunity to experience the heritage and the valuable handcraft which are distributed among the path . The path is surrounded by residential area and vacant land , so it was a good potential to add some plazas to it since those neighborhood has lack of public and open spaces . Among this path , there will be an introduction of Jordan history that are written on walls , separately and it end with Hijaz Museum and hostel , also it will have a cycling tour and kiosks for (handcraft , photo shooting … And it has a pedestrian walkway also furniture to enjoy the view and activities
06 Urban Amman Station Rethinking the transit station as a public space through transforming the two—dimensional into spaces and volumes that intent the site with the surroundings and provide services and areas the users. The Thickened Ground becomes a whole Strategy to Change the traditional opposition Building vs. Landscape, managing to introduce activities and programs to areas which are currently underused. The idea is to Expand The Ground Plane to more than one level in Order to provide direct access to multiple functions, increasing the overall value ,open space usage and intensity of life at street level Multi-layered distributed Functions: - Transportation services taking on the first and second layers - Commercial services distributed between all three layers - Green Public Spaces Connecting both functions together and being integrated throughout the 3 layers

07 Qaqeesh House Documentation Qaqeesh families one of the biggest Christian families came to As-Salt Jordan in 1635 and built the Qaqeesh House (traditional farmhouse) in the era of the Ottoman Empire. Qaqesh house was built in 1864 .
Purpose was to Understand the connection and the relationship between different religion in that era while Islam was more recognizable. Also the lifestyle as a farmer and how is was reflected on the design of the house , the structure which was used (cross vaults) from gold lime, remarkable.

08 Urban Adapter The task was to design urban furniture, and I choose, mine in an old Ammani staircase downtown in Jordan. Integrate Parametric with furniture design that invites you to sit down, just to look at and enjoy the flowing form.

09 Zaatari- Refuge Camp
It was a voluntary work with Dr. Rami Daher , we were involved with the Women of the United Nations in Jordan, they had an idea for the women and kids in the camp, so we as a group decided to design small hubs in the camp, It contains cabins which women can work like manual work, cooking, library and small playing area for kids. And we called these hubs (oasis) The drawings were suggested by the resident in the camp and we wanted to be integrated with them, and some of them were artists and they join the work.
