CASE STUDY 02: Transbay Transit Center in San Francisco - 2013 â–¸(Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects)
Case Study Conclusions ▸Multi-level interchange of different public transportation services
▸New city center is revived ▸Providing sufficient public spaces for the users through the usage of the station roof as parks and plazas
▸Including commercial functions that would revive the area along with the improved transportation systems ▸Light column provides sufficient daylight to the interior
▸The street (ground level) is for the people, and transportation services are either suspended above ground or buried underground
CASE STUDY 03: ReConnecting Tampere: Transportation Hub in Finland - 2014 (COBE + LundĂŠn)
Case Study Conclusions ▸Designing the public transport services with an integrated urban scheme
▸Focusing on stitching together the scars in the urban fabric through green pockets and public spaces ▸Providing places for the people where they can interact with the station through means other than transport (cafes, cultural points, commercial points, public parks, outdoor seating areas, …) ▸Connecting the station to the adjacent edges by providing the needed services and functions
CASE STUDY 04: MERCAT DELS ENCANTS: OLD MARKET IN BARCELONA - 2014 (b720 Fermín Vázquez Arquitectos)
Case Study Conclusions ▸Solutions for the unorganized old markets by providing permanent spaces for the merchants ▸The informal market culture is celebrated within this space and provides an experience for the visitors
▸Rejecting the model of the commercial center by creating a continuous commercial space ▸Maintaining the openness of the informal markets but at the same time provide an organized design for pathways and entrances for users

The Path This path is already exist (Train Railway ), as we have a stop for the train at the platform , passengers have the opportunity to experience the heritage and the valuable handcraft which are distributed among the path . The path is surrounded by residential area and vacant land , so it was a good potential to add some plazas to it since those neighborhood has lack of public and open spaces . Among this path , there will be an introduction of Jordan history that are written on walls , separately and it end with Hijaz Museum and hostel , also it will have a cycling tour and kiosks for (handcraft , photo shooting ‌ ) And it has a pedestrian walkway also furniture to enjoy the view and activities
Exhibition There is an existing ca repair shops in front of our site , and because of the car broken pieces that are thrown in the nearest land we suggested to reuse those parts and to redesign it as an urban furniture in our site and for exhibition 12 car shop Area each 100 m2
The exhibition took place on the roof of the shops to visualize it with the other platforms and to motivate people to visit
