In 2007 alone, The M Group designed nearly two million base-building square feet! From site master planning — to multi-building headquarters — to LEED building design, The M Group has been and continues to be hard at work on ground-up projects. BELMONT EXECUTIVE CENTER Loundoun County, Virginia The M Group was selected by Toll Brothers Commercial of Philadelphia for this project in 2004. Design for three office buildings along the 10th tee box and fairway at Belmont Country Club. Architecture and Interior Architecture Building A, completed mid-2007, is a five-story, steel framed structure with brick and cast masonry elements, and glass in punched and curtainwall configurations. Area is approximately 125,000sf. Drawings for Building B and Building C, each four-story and approximately 100,000sf. are currently underway.
NAP OF THE CAPITAL REGION Culpeper, Virginia Secure data-center campus in Central Virginia. Our client / developer is Terremark Technologies of Miami, Florida. Architecture and Interior Architecture. Master planning for the 30-acre site includes a secure perimeter with 150 foot setbacks. Initial facilities, under construction and due to go live mid 2008, include: Guardhouse Building. Shipping and Receiving Building. Two 100,000sf. Data Center Buildings. Each data center is one level below grade, and one level above. Walls and roof will be structural precast concrete. Modular access floor above 36� recessed slabs. Design meets N+2, Tier 2 criteria. A two-story office building will house a 100+ seat auditorium, NOC, SOC, Marketing offices, CafÊ, Fitness Facility and General Office Spaces. This Building will be steel framed, and clad with aluminum panels, textured masonry and glass. Subsequent phases will include 3 additional Data Center buildings, 100,000sf. each.
GLENBROOK
GLENBROOK EIGHT Chantilly, Virginia Building design for a two story, 35,000sf. office building on a steeply sloping site. Features a bridged entry on the high side and a two story brick arch over the low side entry.

BEAUMEADE CORPORATE PARK Ashburn, Virginia PLAN
Design of a seven building complex in Loudoun County, Virginia. Tilt-up concrete construction design incorporates interesting pattern of reveals, colors and stepped panels. Building clear height varies from 18 to 32 feet, while building footprints range from 44,000sf. to over 150,000sf. with the SECTION overall project area of approximately 540,000sf.

ALEBEMARLE POINT Chantilly, Virginia Master plan and architectural design of a six building, 290,000sf. office campus. The complex is comprised of low-rise office buildings, single story office buildings and flex buildings. The project was constructed in several phases over a three year period.
MIRROR RIDGE OFFICE BUILDING Sterling, Virginia This highly visible building occupies an elevated site along the Route Seven Corridor. A distinctive stepped facade is comprised of a carefully chosen palate of glass, brick and block. The pattern of transom illumination adds to the unique look of what is sure to become an enduring architectural statement. The three-story, 60.000sf. structure has become the recognizable home to Old Dominion University and four other companies, spaces for all of which were designed by The M Group

BATTLEFIELD OVERLOOK I & II Manassas, Virginia This two building project sits on an outstanding site along I-66, serving as the eastern gateway to Prince William County. The buildings were positioned to allow prominent signage visibility. Architecture and materials were selected to provide a timeless look.
WINWOOD SCHOOLS Loudoun, Virginia Designs underway for several buildings for this Arizona based day-care provider. Brambleton location, set to begin construction in early 2008, takes several detailing clues from Craftsman Style of Architecture. Clerestory lighting will highlight interior circulation spine.
ORBITAL SCIENCES Loudoun, Virginia Master plan layout, Architecture and Interior Architecture for a four building expansion of the client's headquarters campus in Loudoun County, Virginia. The buildings will feature aluminum spandral panels, textured and smooth face masonry units, and ribbon windows. Building A set to begin construction during the first quarter of 2008.
