• Redesign Hotel Anne building facades to receive city approval (Historic District Board of Review (HDBR) approval required for all projects in National Historic Landmark District) and meet client’s design criteria.

• Get approval for rooftop amenity spaces and connecting bridges, which were long a hurdle to final approval, and were eventually granted.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Second in charge of design through 3 iterations. Lead designer on fourth iteration that led to HDBR approval, primarily the redesign of the River Street Elevation (South) seen in entry rendering (right) and elevations (bottom right). Achieved through rigorous study and reorganization of window types, opening locations, and entry configuration without changing floor plan.

• BIM Manager. Responsible for model integrity following major changes, as well as coordination with all consultants.

• Responsible for creation of most major graphics, including renderings, client presentations, and HDBR Submission.

NOTE: For all captions labeled as “Designed in collaboration with Pat Shay”, my responsibilities were as follows:

1. Provide original idea in the form of a sketch or model.

2. Critique and incorporate Pat’s feedback.

3. Revise drawing and then critique with Pat.

4. Complete all drafting and modeling of final results.
