It is here that we feel at home and are realising our big dream. The dream of reviving an old cacao plantation and really making a difference! Soon we will bring you 100% Brazilian and 100% festive chocolate.
Growing Cacao in the rainforest Our plantation is situated in the coastal region of the State of Bahia. This region is known for the lush rainforest of the Mata Atlantica. A place with thousands of different colours of green and twittering birds. Harvesting cacao requires endurance as you often have to reach up into the highest branches to collect the mysterious fruit.

The Mata Atlantica is one of the world’s richest rainforests in terms of biodiversity. More than 2200 species of birds, mammals and
reptiles live in this extraordinary place. It has been a UNESCO world heritage site since 1999. Growing cacao in the forest is one way to make nature conservation profitable.
OUR chocolate rumbles like the jungle Our beans come straight out of the rainforest and are hand selected with care. They have the unique taste of tropical fruits and a hint of spice. We offer a variety of cacao products including chocolate bars, cacao nibs and couverture. In autumn 2011 our chocolate will be available for you to try!
Roasted and crushed cacao beans are called nibs. A delicious and healthy snack!
