At Bay Area, we have a vision to reach the in Anne Arundel County who don’t know Jesus. One of the ways we do this is through launching new campuses. This year, God led us to Odenton as our newest location!

440,000

Reaching people is a big vision, and it will take more than campuses of Bay Area for every person to hear the good news of Jesus! That’s one of many reasons we’re committed to church planting as well. This year a group from within our church family set out to plant a new, multiethnic church in Annapolis: Axis Church. We continued to generously support our church planting

$281,286

partner, the SENT Network, committing to the work of planting gospel-centered churches throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond.

14 2019 ANNUAL REPORT

Through the faithful giving of our church family, we committed a total of

$472,752 to our global partners and missions in 11 countries this year. These resources were used for ministry spanning the raising up of 1,700 student leaders in Ghana to bringing the gospel to three unreached tribal groups in India.

2019 ANNUAL REPORT 15

God is a global God, and we share His heart for all nations to know Him. That’s why, this past year

174 of us joined 15 short term missions teams to serve

and share the gospel in nine countries around the world.

16 2019 ANNUAL REPORT

Two of those teams traveled to Lebanon, a first-time destination for Bay Area missions, as we met and got to know potential new global partners who are spreading the love of Jesus among Syrian refugees. 2019 ANNUAL REPORT 17

God did all of these incredible things and so much more through our church family in 2019, and we are grateful to serve a global God who has called us to be a part of building His Kingdom from here to the nations. We look forward to all He is calling us to in 2020, expectant that He will continue to use Bay Area to make passionate, maturing followers of Jesus!
