2021-22 Baylor School Profile + Admission Guide
High academic standards, talented teachers, and the development of leadership skills in a co-ed environment are the hallmarks of a Baylor School education.
THE HONOR CODE is a guiding
OUR MISSION is to foster in our students both the ability and the desire to make a positive difference in the world.
principle instilled in students the moment they enter the Baylor gates. Essentially, the code is a pledge not to lie, cheat or steal, and it serves as the foundation for our respect for the school and each other. The code is enforced by a panel of students who are selected by their peers, and a seat on the Honor Council is considered the most important leadership position a Baylor student can hold.

ACADEMICS GLOBAL + CIVIC SCHOLARS
BAYLOR RESEARCH
Baylor constantly challenges students to look beyond the gates of the school to consider the impact they can have on the community and world around them. The Global and Civic Scholars programs utilize international exchanges, advanced world language studies, and workshops in civic engagement to help students create digital portfolios for college admission.
The Baylor Research Program allows students with a passion for the sciences to move beyond the traditional study of chemistry, biology, and engineering to an independent study track. Students are guided by Ph.D. faculty mentors who are conducting university-level research in biomedical test organisms, aquatic biology, virtual reality, and more. The program is supported with a $15 million endowment.
