Faith, Honor, Excellence, Magnanimitas

OUR MISSION is to foster in our students both the ability and the desire to make a positive difference in the world.

CORE VALUES

Academics, Character, Honesty, Individuality, Leadership, Respect, and Spirituality.

THE HONOR CODE is a core value instilled in students from the moment

they enter the Baylor gates. The founding headmaster, John Roy Baylor, modeled his Honor Code after that of the University of Virginia, his alma mater. Today, thirteen students selected by the student body hear infractions of the code and determine consequences. They are guided by a faculty adviser. A seat on the Honor Council is considered the most important position of leadership within the student body.
