The Eaton Rapids Business and Professional Women’s Club was chartered in 1935. From the beginning, the Eaton Rapids BPW vision is to be the leading advocate for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education, and information. Our major fundraising effort provides scholarships for local women who have returned to school i order to make a better life for themselves and their families. We take particular pride in serving women from our local community along with local organizations dedicated to community service. Other projects include “Life Unplugged” for Eaton Rapids 7th grade students. Life Unplugged is a fun educational experience that gives students a glimpse of their futures. In this interactive program, students participate in a simulation to determine their most important values, identify career choices, practice living within a monthly budget and work through critical life choices. We also donate to the following charities: Common Christian Action Group (CCAG), Heart & Hands, and SIREN Eaton Shelter. Be part of the world’s oldest and largest organization for working women, who are connected with others who build and shape out workplace, share ideas, sharpen skills, assemble resources, mentor young women and impact our local community.
