60+ Acres of Parkland for You to Enjoy!

Our community has more than 60 acres of land designated for parks and recreational use. An additional 1,050 feet of riverwalk is also available for your enjoyment, as well as school, regional and state facilities. Our parks include:

Biggs Park, located at 900 Montgomery St, is open from 7am – 11pm

G.A.R. Island Park, located at 150 E Hamlin St, is open from 7am – 11pm

Hall Street Park, located at 343 Hall St, is open from 7am – 11pm

Howe Memorial Fields, located at 100 Howe Dr, is open from 7am – 11pm

Howe Memorial Field is a 30 acre park located along the banks of Spring Brook south of Brook Street and West of

Hamlin Street. Across Spring Book to the east within a short walk is our Historic Downtown. Howe Memorial Field is the home of five ball diamonds, a 10,000 square foot park built by the community, called Playground of Dreams, sand volleyball and basketball courts, and picnic areas. The Scott Munn River Walk runs along Spring Brook creating a connection with several apartment complexes and downtown businesses. The park also featuers a wooden outdoor amphitheater has been added to the northeast section of the park at W. Knight Street.

Island City Dog Park, located at 415 Eaton Pine Blvd, is open from 7am – 11pm

J.B. Bradley Park, located at 622 Canal St, is open from 7am – 11pm

Martin Hansen Amphitheater, located at 315 W Knight St, is open from 7am – 11pm

McArthur River Park, located at 314 McArthur River Dr, is open from 7am – 11pm

Memorial Park, located at 316 S Main St, is open from 7am – 11pm

Mill Pointe Park, located at 114 Mill St, is open from 7am – 11pm

Mylo L. Stewart Park, located at 212 S Main St, is open from 7am – 11pm
