Il s’agit d’un choix subjectif de quatre artistes par numéro, de créateurs contemporains issus de différentes disciplines : arts plastiques, arts graphiques, design, littérature, photographie ... Sans textes, ni commentaires nous souhaitons montrer des travaux issus de la carte blanche accordée aux artistes invités. Platonique fait référence à un acte vain et idéal, à une idée qui plane, un désir : une exposition n’est pas une fin en soi et un artiste existe même s’il n’est pas montré : nous souhaitons qu’il soit vu. Platonique is a quarterly of pictures with a numbered circulation of one hundred. It is a subjective choice of four artists per issue, of contemporary creators coming from different disciplines : visual arts, graphic arts, design, literature, photography… Without any text or commentaries, we want to show the outcome of the carte blanche granted to the invited artists. Platonique refers to a vain and ideal act, a gliding idea, a desire : an exhibition is not an end in itself and an artist exists even if he is not shown : we want him to be seen.
