Thank you to Jim, Kandy and the team for keeping our tennis swings going and the courts clean! Thank you to Jon and the entire pool team for keeping our water clean and the pools safe for all. Thank you to our food & beverage teams for keeping us fed with beautiful, delicious meals all year long at all our restaurant outlets and during all our events! It is all this team that has delivered all year long and I thank you sincerely for your hard work!!
We have been working diligently on creating all events and tournaments for 2025 and we plan to roll them out at the beginning of the year. Once again, thank you for your support of the Club. I hope you all have had a wonderful holiday season thus far and are looking forward to the upcoming holiday events at the Club There have been a few additions to the holiday celebrations this year starting off with the Festive Forest on the Front Lawn. This new attraction, which hosts 20 Christmas Trees,
all being decorated by and highlighting local business and groups, inclusive of a special tree representing our Club & Membership! Samantha sent out a notice a few weeks back about sending in a family photo and we will create your own special ornament to hang on our tree! To activate the Festive Forest on the Front Lawn there are many holiday events along with dining opportunities in the Igloos, that are available on a reservation basis. Bubbles & Brunch with Santa takes place next Saturday, along with Caroler’s on the Front Lawn, Martini Specials in LaSallette, and many other festive events for you and your family to enjoy! Please check-out the Holiday’s Activities Schedule found on the Club Member website for a complete listing of events.
Saturday, December 14th, is the Member Holiday Reception in the Carriage House. This is meant to be a more casual, upscale cocktail party with heavy hors d’ oeuvres, geared more towards mingling with your fellow Members to celebrate the season. Early indications is that we are having a very nice turn-out so please register today to celebrate the season with your fellow Members!

The Brown family is thrilled to join the Ocean Edge Club. Ryan and Johanna Brown reside in Charlestown, MA with their two children, Lennon (3) and Goodwin (2). Ryan works in business development for Amazon Web Services and is also a working musician (piano), while Johanna is in the environment and sustainability field at Takeda Pharmaceuticals.
This active family loves spending time together engaged in fun, educational activities. Both children attend a Montessori school in Charlestown and have a passion for music, building things with their hands, swimming, visiting the Museum of Science, and playing at local parks and playgrounds. The Browns have been vacationing at Ocean Edge Resort for several years now and are excited to continue their tradition as new residents and club members. They look forward to taking advantage of all the wonderful amenities, meeting other members, and creating many cherished memories together on the Cape
PATRICK & BARBARA RAYBALL WELCOME NEW MEMBERS
Patrick and Barbara Rayball relocated from Grapevine TX to Brewster MA in early November. The Ocean Edge home on Captains Village Lane will be their primary residence. They are looking forward to the cooler summer weather and spending quality time outside and at the beach with family and friends.
Patrick and Barbara met in college. Patrick attended Siena College and Barbara attended Russell Sage College. Shortly after they were married in 1990, they relocated to Texas for employment. They originally worked for Bank One and then both spent 25 years at AmeriCredit/GM Financial before retiring in July, 2022.
Patrick and Barbara have 4 daughters - Emily, Julia, Rylee and Camryn.
Emily graduated from Boston College and obtained her masters degree at Columbia University. She is currently employed by Boston College and working towards her M.B.A. Julia is a full time graduate student at Tufts University working on her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy. Rylee is a Junior at Boston College studying in the Business School. Camryn is a sophomore at Northeastern University studying Nursing.
The family dog is a labradoodle named Walter. He has a big bark, but the sweetest disposition. Walter might say hello to as you pass the women’s 5th tee box.
In addition to spending time with their daughters and extended family members they enjoy cooking, traveling and entertaining.

Try to get up every 30 to 60 minutes and walk to the kitchen or do a few standing leg exercises for circulation. This has been proven to reduce the risk of diabetes. A great plan is to use those commercial breaks to get up and move your body!
Fitness Class Spotlight: 15/15/15 Mondays 4:30 pm
This class is a combination of cardio, weights, and stretching in an interval setting. Taught by Chris, our amazing instructor and personal trainer, you will love this total body workout. All levels are welcome!

SANTA FINGER FOOD FOR CHRISTMAS
I made this last year and they were a big hit! To cut fat/calories, I used Fat-Free Feta crumbles, Laughing Cow light cream cheese, and Fat-Free Milk. I also found gluten-free round crackers, and they worked great.
INGREDIENTS
½(4 ounce) packagecrumbled feta cheese
½(3 ounce) packagecream cheese, softened
2tablespoonsmilk, or more as needed
1(7 ounce) jarroasted red peppers
½(8 ounce) packagebuttery round crackers
32green peppercorns in brine, drained 16capers
1ribcelery, thinly sliced
DIRECTIONS

Combine feta cheese, cream cheese, and milk in a bowl and stir to combine Press through a fine-mesh sieve, so cheese mixture is very fine Spoon cheese mixture into a piping back with a round tip
1 Pipe a semi-circle of cheese mixture over the top third of each cracker Cut red peppers into triangles and place into the semi-circle for Santa's hat Pipe 2 small dots for the eyes and 1 for the nose Place 1 peppercorn into each ' eye dot' for the pupils and 1 caper into the ' nose dot' Pipe a beard on the bottom of the cracker and place 2 celery slices, curved side facing down, on top of the beard.
