YOGA FOR BEGINNERS
This class focuses on an introduction to asann (poses), sun salutation sequences and proper alignment. This class will break down foundational poses in a slow-paced supportive environment. Students will utilize props and learn modifications in addition to breathwork, intention setting and mudras. While this class will focus on the vinyasa flow style of yoga, we will also explore restorative chair yoga and strength- based styles. Bring your own yoga mat. It covers normal changes in vision, hearing and reaction time, and provides practical techniques to compensate for these changes.
