This secure online registration is for credit card registration only. Once your registration is processed you will receive a confirmation letter in the mail. If the class is full, you will receive a telephone call from our office. 2. Phone-In: No forms, no lines! Animal Exploration In this camp, campers will learn so much about their favorite animals! They will design a new animal, build a zoo, create animal masks, animal puppets and more. Campers will bring home new knowledge and fun projects. Instructor: Julia Laitman Awesome Artist Explore the wonderful world of art through the use of different art mediums and materials. Let your creativity lead the way! Create beautiful works of art while using the elements of art and principles of design. We will be painting, drawing, sculpting, and creating much, much more! Please bring an art smock as we will be getting messy as we create! Instructor: Jamie Ulkloss Blast Off! Space Camp Prepare for take-off! Ready, set, blast off! As we learn about what it takes to become astronauts, we will travel through space to learn about the planets in our solar system. Learn facts about each planet and build your own spaceship. We will make crafts using buttons, paints, paper-mache, yarn, and watercolors. We will have fun with jewelry making, iron-on crayon art, playing games, playground fun and much more. Children will be introduced to various drawing materials and techniques as well as painting, printmaking and collage. Ages 5-6 Get Your Zen On In this camp, campers will learn yoga moves and get to create some of their own. We will play yoga and dance games, and use art and writing to express ourselves. We will learn about mindfulness and how to identify and express our emotions. Campers will leave camp with art, breathing techniques, yoga poses and more! Instructor: Julia Laitman
Recipe for Science Add one cup bubble making to 1/2 cup of invisible ink. Sprinkle in building volcanoes and marshmallow bridges. Add 2 teaspoons of slime, and whip in some air to make balloons and airplanes. Pour in 1 Tbsp. color experimentation with icing. Taste lemon fizzies, homemade ice-cream and cookies. Makerspace for Beginners Launch the maker in you! Use design thinking to boost creativity and bring out the maker in yourself. See creativity and innovation through a new lens. The most creative and innovative work comes from circumstances that force a new type of thinking for solutions. We will have fun brainstorming and designing maker activities such as marble mazes, LEGO® challenges, bead coding, bridges, flotation devices and much more. Tie Dye Typhoon Looking to add some color into your camper’s life? Come join us for Tie Dye Typhoon! We will be learning different tie dye techniques each day, understanding the science of water, and having fun! At the end of the week you will get to take home your daily creations to show everyone at home how creative you are. Instructor: Maria DiChiara
Pop Star Singing If your child enjoys singing and performing, then this is the class for your up-and-coming superstar! Your child will have a blast singing and performing their favorite karaoke songs. While having fun, campers will also learn basic vocal warm-ups and performance tips that will help build their confidence. Campers will also play singing games similar to lip-sync competition and Name that Tune. Instructor: East Coast Recording

Ages 7-9 App Attack/ROBLOX® Coders & Entrepreneurs App Attack! Take the first steps into the world of mobile app design and customize your own game app! Using a specialized app & game development tool, campers will explore the world of web-based (HTML) mobile apps. In addition to learning the basics of mobile app design and game development, you will also see firsthand how the world of App publishing functions. Camper-created apps will be accessible on a private site and can be played on any mobile device or computer. Publishing to App Stores not included. Campers do not need to own a smartphone or tablet to take this class. Returning campers can create more advanced projects that build on previous years. ROBLOX® Coders & Entrepreneurs! Discover the Lua language through a visual block coding system while designing worlds in ROBLOX®, an online universe where you can create anything you dream of. This camp combines game design concepts, coding, and fun! Young entrepreneurs will also learn how to navigate ROBLOX®’s fast-growing marketplace to publish their games. Whether you want to be a Silicon Valley CEO or the high school student who just made $1 million dollars for programming in her bedroom, this course has the essentials you need to begin your journey. Battle Royale: Make Your First Fortnite® Style Video Game Fans of Fortnite® we need you! Instead of playing the game, design your own. Using a professional 3D game development software, build levels and assets inspired by popular battle royale games like Fortnite®. Campers can participate in eSports League matches against other schools across the country with a chance to have their levels featured in the Black Rocket master build of the game! This course includes cartoonish action and battle sequences. Camper-created games will be available on a password protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Instructor: Black Rocket Cyber Spies/YouTube Content Creators Cyber Spies With the world’s increased reliance on digital data, cyber security is more important than ever! In this camp you are all that stands between a group of international hackers launching cyberattacks and world peace. Through a series of challenges campers will learn to apply tools used by professional digital forensics teams to crack codes and use encryption. Working in teams you will have to collect clues, recover lost data, and explore the tools of the trade and become the next great cyber spy! YouTube Content Creators Find your voice and leave your mark on the world! Whether you are six or sixteen, it’s time to start a career as the next YouTube star. Explore the variety of content and personalities that exist on YouTube and how to find your own niche. Learn the Do’s and Don’ts of the platform and how to practice good digital citizenship. Develop your on-camera presence, your own channel branding, and professional editing skills. Take home a plan for launching your own channel with the content created in class! Camper projects will be available on a password protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Instructor: Black Rocket Decathlon and Track Camp Decathlon and Track Camp will include comprehensive instruction in the multiple disciplines of track and field: warm up, running technique, sprinting, hurdling, distance running, baton passing, long and triple jumps, shot put, discus and javelin. Ages 7-9 Drone Adventures/ eSports Apprentice-Streamers and Gamers Drone Adventures The Drones are here! Let the battles begin. In this hands-on, interactive class you will learn how to safely fly drone robots. Working in teams, you will be able to code your drone to compete in missions that will prepare you for the ultimate team challenge at the end of the week. Campers will work in pairs or teams for most of the camp. eSports Apprentice - Streamers and Gamers Whether you want to be the next pro gamer, streamer, or gamecaster this camp will teach you the basics to get started! No longer just a hobby, eSports is the fastest-growing career for the next generation. Over 400 million people watched YouTube videos and Twitch streams of video game competitions this year alone! In this camp, campers will develop game-play skills and compete using Black Rocket’s eSports games and apps, learn how to produce commentary for live tournaments, use professional streaming software, and most importantly practice online safety. Camper recordings will be available on a password protected website to share with friends and family. Videos will not be broadcast publicly but will be shared with all campers in the class. Instructor: Black Rocket Engineering with K’NEX Engineering with K’NEX is a camp that explores the possibilities and potential of K’NEX. We will be building structures independently, as well as with the group. There will be car building, personal choice building and class building. We will also watch a few movies to try to inspire those master builders within. Instructor: Scott Antoni Experimentation Nation STEAM Camp Come and explore the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) with us! Together we will create and explore the world of STEAM with house hold objects like LEGO®, K’NEX, dish soap, paper, etc. Put your thinking caps on and get ready for a week of fun! JavaScript Developer Jam/ YouTube FX Masters JavaScript Developer Jam Learn programming tools so powerful they seem like magic! Start off by learning an array of core programming concepts with JavaScript by experimenting in a series of digital challenges. Start with programming your first animated memes, then tackle more advanced skills such as interactive 3D experiences and game creation. Projects will be available on a password protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. YouTube FX Masters Do you love movies with exciting special effects, like The Avengers, Star Wars, or Harry Potter? Amaze your friends by swinging a lightsaber or blasting fire from your hands and becoming a master of the illusions used by Hollywood artists to create visual effects magic. Whether you want to enhance your YouTube videos or create a cool scene to amaze your friends, this camp teaches the tools you need. Experiment with visual effects as you learn the dynamics of camera angles, editing, graphic layering, and sound effects. Then watch as your new creations take your channel content to the next level! Camper projects are available on a password protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Instructor: Black Rocket LEGO® Animation 1 Stop Motion is a powerful animation technique that makes static objects appear to be moving. In this camp, you will use LEGO® bricks and found objects. Brainstorm your ideas, create the storyboard, construct the props, shoot the still frames, and then, edit the finished animation using Windows Movie Maker Live. Campers will receive a USB bracelet with all their animations on it. We ask that campers bring in their own LEGO® bricks in a plastic container to use for this camp. The campers will be responsible for their own LEGO® bricks and will not be sharing them with other campers in this camp to help prevent the spread of Covid-19. Instructor: Kris Fontes
Green Thumb With a little green thumb and some imagination our campers will enjoy making terrariums, bird houses and garden signs. The love of nature will be inspired by encouraging the camper to utilize Tyler State Park. The camper will find moss, pebbles and little treasures to fill into this magical terrarium land. They will also be encouraged to create a miniature world for their terrariums by using air clay and paints. Summer is meant for enjoying nature, so why not make some keep sakes to enhance the beauty all year long! Instructor: Joan Zalucki
Make Your First 3D Video Game/ Minecraft® Modders Make Your First 3D Video Game In this Black Rocket classic, you will go well beyond the limitations of the traditional 2D game design classes and create an immersive 3D world. Campers will learn the physics behind 3D games, explore beginner event scripting, level design, controlling the flow of gameplay, and storytelling. Campers projects will be available on a password protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Projects are only compatible with Windows devices.
Harry Potter’s Tri-Wizard Tournament Camp The magical world of Harry Potter and the TriWizard Tournament springs to glittering life as students dare to place their name in the Goblet of Fire in order to compete to become Wizarding Champions! Sharpening both their teamwork and problem-solving abilities, students of Hogwarts, Beauxbaton, and Durmstrang come together for a week of energetic enchantment as students learn that the real magic of accomplishment is the way we help each other along the way. Minecraft® Modders Customize your own Minecraft® world and mod the classic game in this one of a kind camp. Learn scripting and logic statements as you create your first mods. Ages 7-9 Make Your First Video Game/ Python Programmers Make Your First Video Game If you love playing video games, this is the camp for you! Make your first video game in this one-ofa-kind camp that shows you the keys to designing your first 2D platformer game. Conceptualization, play experience, level design, graphics, sounds, and simple coding are just some of the concepts that we’ll explore. No prior experience necessary, just a desire to have fun. Camper projects will be available on a password protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Games are only compatible on PC computers. Returning campers can create more advanced projects that build on previous years. Python Programmers Want to learn the world’s fastest-growing programming language favored by Google, NASA, YouTube, and the CIA? Learn how to code with Python to create engaging apps and games. Each lesson takes you step-by-step on a programming path that will let you challenge friends with fun content you create from start to finish! Returning campers can create more advanced projects that build on previous years. Instructor: Black Rocket Minecraft® Redstone Engineers/ ROBLOX® Makers Minecraft® Redstone Engineers Take the next step beyond simply “playing” Minecraft® and become a true Redstone engineer. Expand your Redstone knowledge by constructing your own carnival with a variety of mini-games, roller coasters, and attractions powered by Redstone. Learn how to use Command and Structure blocks to incorporate them into your builds. Activate your skills and take your Minecraft® structures to the next level! ROBLOX® Makers Unlock the power of ROBLOX® Studio, the world creation tool used by real-world ROBLOX® developers! Learn how to build 3D models and create an adventure in your ROBLOX® world. Bring characters to life with unique animations you design. Campercreated projects will be available on a password protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Join us in a basic Musical Theatre camp for younger campers who have an interest in singing, acting, and dancing. A full musical will be performed on the final day of camp. This summer’s performance will be Disney’s 101 Dalmatians, Kids. Instructors: Jeffrey Lanigan and Nicholas Raspanti
Playing Golf at Bucks Golf Camp will include comprehensive instruction on the fundamental skills of golf: stance, grip, ball and club placement, short iron skills, long iron skills, driving metal skills, putting, golf scoring and golf etiquette. All done in a friendly, fun and safe environment. It is recommended that campers bring their own golf clubs. Instructor: Steve Harnish Storybook Creations Love to read? Love to write? Have a lot of ideas for stories, but not sure how to start creating your own book? In this camp, campers will work with teachers to create innovative, exciting storybooks. We will learn about the writing process and how to turn exciting ideas into full stories. Campers will write their ideas onto paper, and transfer them into a hardback book. They will also illustrate each page. By the end of the week, campers will get to bring home a book crafted by themselves for the whole family to enjoy! Instructors: Megan McCabe for Weeks 5 and 7. Michael McCabe and Megan McCabe for Week 6. Summer Dance Camp at Bucks This camp will introduce campers to the art of dance! There will be 3 dance forms (Jazz/ Musical Theater Dance, Ballet, Modern/Lyrical) we will be focusing on throughout the week. At the end of the week there will be a performance that parents/family will be able to attend to see the campers work! Campers will also be able to create their own choreography to show at the performance at the end of the week! Campers will learn techniques from each dance form and learn how to perform and showcase their new learned talents. This is a great way for campers to move, be creative, and have fun! Instructor: Tia DiPietro Ultimate Escapes This is a hands-on camp. Activities include exploring Tyler Park daily and a fishing day. Getting wet is part of the fun when hunting for critters in the creek. You’ll also participate in exciting indoor and outdoor games. We will keep busy creating fun crafts and science experiments including magic slime, mosaics, clay creations, and more. Join us in the ultimate escape to summer fun! Please bring closed toe shoes for the creek. Instructor: Ed Obert-Thorn WeDo LEGO® Robotics Using a LEGO® Construction Set and Expansion Set, campers will be able to build LEGO® models featuring working motors and sensors. Campers will then program their models using our WeDo software to make their creations come to life! Campers will explore a series of theme-based activities while developing their skills in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Instructor: Megan Naughton

Ages 10-13 Acting for the Camera This camp is perfect for the aspiring young ‘actors’ in your household. It is here they will learn real auditioning skills by working with scripts for commercials and film readings. Your child will learn how to personalize characters and follow direction, block for camera and read with their ‘co-stars’. Voice over will also be introduced. Improvisation and ad-libbing (off the script) will be taught as a basis of making acting choices and trusting their instincts. A huge benefit of this camp is increasing memory, reading skills and confidence. Included in this camp is a take-home tutorial showing you ways to find acting jobs as well as a list of legitimate talent agencies. (After camp, all footage is sent to a professional editor. Beginner Sewing 1 Campers will learn the basics of sewing by hand and by machine. They will learn and practice sewing techniques to acquire skills to make a variety of useful and fun items. Instructor: Paula Molino-Wolff
Fabulous Fishing Campers will go on daily excursions to Tyler State Park to learning the practice of fishing, basic fish identification, and some friendly challenges related to fishing (i.e. biggest fish caught, farthest cast, the greatest number of fish caught, etc.). If needed, bait will be supplied. It is recommended that campers bring their own fishing rods, but rods can be supplied as well. Instruction on safe casting, baiting of hooks, good fishing areas, and good fishing etiquette will be presented. Bring rain gear when necessary. Camp Freedom Write In this camp, we will be introducing campers to the art of writing plays for the stage. We will engage in creative writing exercises, theatre games, and learning how to write plays. All campers will compose and write their own short plays by the end of the week. Gannon Multi-Sports Camp Campers will play a multitude of sports and fun related activities. Each day campers will play 2 unique sports/activities in the morning and 2 different ones in the afternoon. Some of the games involve basketball, ultimate frisbee, “freedom”- 2 team tag game, kickball, dodgeball, a tennis/baseball game, hide-and-seek, and more. Instructor: Michael Gannon

Ages 10-13 Intro to Film and TV Camp Your children will work as cast and crew teams in this cool camp. Campers will receive one professionally edited audio CD that contains all of their camp recordings for the week. This program brings together a fun team that will work in unison performing with exciting music videos. In this camp your child will immerse themselves in music interpretation, creating a storyline, developing movement and/or dance routines for their favorite music videos. First, campers start their project with writing the storyline of that day’s music video. Next, they decide on the set (cool locations at the college). Instructor: East Coast Recording Photoshop Magic Photoshop Magic is a camp created to inspire a camper’s creativity through digital designing tools and software. Taught by an award-winning art educator, the camp is designed to be flexible enough to introduce foundational skills and grow existing graphic design and photography experiences. The camp focuses on the possibilities of visual design that can be created using digital software and photography. Campers can take this camp multiple times and achieve growth and produce new products in each experience because of the personalized focus and endless potential that exists with this medium. Campers have opportunities to photograph, digitally paint, design and make multi-layered composites that they will turn into a printed product by the end of the camp. Some samples of products have been heat transfers for custom t-shirts and tote bags, stickers and mugs. Campers are responsible to bring merchandise and wearable products. We will provide the ink and paper. Instructor: Amy Migliore Robotics and Rocketry Step into the robotic world while building two basic robots. This camp will be filled with discussion of past, present, and future robotics and rocketry. Science fiction is discussed to show that without it, the advances in technology would be difficult. Enjoy building two basic robots and rockets while learning how they work. With this hands-on course, the history and future of robotics and rocketry is at your fingertips. Instructor: Brad Monti Summer Dance Intensive at Bucks This camp is a summer dance intensive that will give campers an introduction to what studying dance in college is all about! Bucks County Community College has a dance program that is open and welcoming to all dancers! This camp will open doors to studying dance in college and what elements campers can explore with the art of dance! Throughout the week campers will focus on Modern Dance technique, Ballet Technique, Improvisation and Composition. There will be a showcase at the end of the week for family and friends to present what the campers have accomplished! Tennis, Anyone? Get into the “swing” with our exciting tennis clinic! Learn how to play the game of tennis. Groundstrokes, volleys, and serves will be taught. Tennis games and fun drills will help you practice these new skills. Doubles play will be demonstrated and strategy will be discussed. Hopefully, an appreciation and “love” of the game will be acquired. You must bring your own racket, lunch, and plenty of water! Instructors: Maria DiChiara and Fred DiChiara The Great Debaters * This camp is structured like a class at school. Recommended for participants who are seriously interested in learning the proper skills and etiquette for debating. Campers will learn different types of debate forms (Lincoln Douglas, Parliamentary, etc.) as well as how to research, validate and present their positions in order to be successful in the debate process. Over the course of the week they will be taught/practice persuasive speaking skills, as they learn the different techniques of debate. On the last day of camp, the campers debate their topics in front of an audience. Instructor: Diane Rice Wildlife Exploration It may feel like you need to travel to far off, exotic places to have incredible experiences with wildlife, but that is not the case! Learn about the staggering diversity of species found right in your own backyard through hands on activities, real scientific methods, and lots of outdoor exploration! Kids On Campus 2022
General Information This pandemic continues to drive the college’s decisions and policies. Please be aware that Kids on Campus adheres to these decisions and policies set forth by Bucks County Community College. Kids on Campus will update parents and guardians as soon as we receive any changes and/or updated information from the college. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding for any last-minute changes to procedures and policies the college provides us with in dealing with Covid-19. Kids on Campus Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm. Registration Summer Office Hours are Monday-Thursday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm.
Camper Drop-Off and Pick-Up Location
All Camps are located at the Newtown Campus, unless otherwise stated. From the Newtown Bypass, drive past Tyler State Park Entrance onto Swamp Road to a traffic light. Make a left at this traffic light to enter the college campus at the EAST GATE. After turning left, continue straight ahead to lower Parking Lot ‘S4’ (Student Parking Lot 4) and turn right into the parking lot. Please park your vehicle and escort your child to the Tent Check-in/out area. Parents and Guardians are to drop-off and pick-up their campers at the Newtown Campus’s Student Parking Lot 4 each day. If your camper is late or needs to be picked up early, then you are to drop-off/pick-up at the Kids on Campus Office located upstairs in Cottage 3.
Food Service
At this time, the cafeteria continues to be closed. We will make an announcement if this changes as we get closer to the summer. Therefore, all Campers are required to bring their own packed lunch each day to camp. If a camper forgets his/her lunch, then we will call the parent/guardian who must bring a packed lunch for the camper. We are unable to provide a lunch to campers who forgot to bring their lunch and it is the parent/ guardian’s responsibility that the camper has a lunch each day for camp. In your camper’s lunch, please make sure to pack extra water, snacks, and utensils.
Before and After Care
We are unable to provide Before and After Care this summer. Please make sure your campers are dropped off between 8:30 – 9:00 am and are picked up at 3:30 pm each day.

If rain is expected on any camp day, please be sure your child has a raincoat and/or umbrella since he/she will be walking to and from Lot “S4.” The Pavilion will provide shelter during inclement weather while all children are arriving for camps or waiting for pick-up. Please be patient; this can take a little longer than usual. Outdoor activities will be held indoors during inclement weather.
Child Abuse Reporting Policy
Kids on Campus takes camper safety seriously and everyone who works with children are Mandated Reporters. If we see and/or hear about a camper who is abused and/or there is a cause for concern about abuse, by law we must report the incident to Child Line Services. Once we make the report, it is up to Child Line Services to determine what actions will be taken. Please do not direct anger towards us for reporting. Kids on Campus is only looking out for the safety and well-being of all our campers.

Program Refund Policy
Registrations per camp are limited. Please be sure to pick the right camp for your camper that is the correct age group and appeal. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, we are not able to transfer your campers into a different camp. Once your camper is registered for a camp, then your camper must stay with that camp for the rest of the week. There is a $35 non-refundable fee for any cancellations. Refunds (less $35) will be made ONLY when you notify the Continuing Education Office AT LEAST SEVEN (7) DAYS before the first day of the program. If you have paid by check, your refund will arrive in three weeks. Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover Card payments will be credited to your account. If you need to cancel a camp for any reason, please do NOT cancel through the CampDoc System. You must cancel a camp by calling the Registration Office at 215968-8409.
Emergency
If an emergency occurs, and you need to notify your child, please call the Office of Continuing Education at 215-968-8409 or 215-968-8016. We will contact your child. We discourage the use of cell phones during our camp day as it is disruptive to the camp program. Bucks County Community College also provides a free emergency text alert to notify if there are unexpected closings due to weather, power outages, or an unsafe situation on campus. To sign up for the service that will send a message on your phone please text Bucks to 79516.
Medical Information
• The College does not provide insurance for possible injury during the sessions. Participants should be prepared to show that adequate coverage has been obtained from other sources. • If a camper is sick the morning of or the night before camp, especially with a fever, please keep camper home to recover for at least 24 hours. • If a camper is sick during the day, it is the nurse’s responsibility, not the camper’s, to contact the parent/ guardian of the camper to pick the camper up. • Kids on Campus staff reserve the right to decline entry for any camper who looks and/or sounds unwell. • All injuries, illness, or emotional related incidents are to be referred to the nurse first. The nurse will assess the situation and, if necessary, contact additional resources for assistance. • The nurse will determine if: – Camper’s parent/guardian is to be called. – Camper is okay to return to the group but will be observed by the camp instructor and if the camper is still complaining will be taken back to the nurse. – If a camper is deemed not fit to return to camp for any reason, the parents/guardians must pick camper up and take camper home. • Your child may NOT carry medication at camp without a specific doctor’s order to do so (ex. Inhalers, insulin, epinephrine, etc.) The nurses must see the note and medication. Otherwise the nurse will hold all medications. • Every Monday, please see the nurses at the tent with all medication and documentation. • You must have the prescription label on the medication and doctors care plan if necessary. Also, please check expiration dates. • On the last day of your child’s camp, you must see the nurses to pick up your child’s medication.
