Fees, Refunds, and Withdrawals

You can take courses as part of a program that leads to a credential, such as a certificate, diploma, or degree. Simply apply for program approval by completing and submitting a Part-time Program Declaration form. Go to bcit.ca/pts and click on Downloads. In order to be admitted to a program, you will be required to provide proof that you meet the specified English-language proficiency requirement. Please check the program web page for specific requirements. BCIT has several upgrading courses for students who wish to improve their English-language skills (page 9).

Course fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. Refund information, including the deadline, will be provided when you register for a course. Special fees for some courses are non-refundable, and different refund requirements may apply. Submit withdrawal requests to Student Information and Enrolment Services at either Burnaby Campus or Downtown Campus before the refund deadline.
