15.1. Meeting Called to Order The meeting was called to order by the Chairperson, April 3, 2006, at 6 pm. (21 voting members) 15.2. Acceptance of the Agenda The agenda of April 3, 2006 was accepted as presented. Todd, Andrea 20/0/0 15.3. Acceptance of the Minutes from March 20, 2006 It was moved by and seconded by that the minutes of March 20,2006 be accepted as distributed.Grace, Tunde 19/0/1 Carried 15.4

15.5 General Reports Executive & Director See attached 15.6 Progress Report See attached. Ashley – 63 applications were funded for the SIF. Shannon will no longer be the Chair Health Sciences because she is away at practicum. The incoming VP Health Sciences 15.7. Questions Period (5 min.) Tara – Dodgeball on Saturday May 6, 10am to 8pm, Douglas New West. Lee-Ann – Bookstore – Amazon $54, over $100 at bookstore.

Mike – How many dodgeball teams are they looking for? Grace says that BCIT is looking for 68 teams. Todd – How much authority does the person Jen is meeting with over the price points on books. Ashley – Review the constitution in regards to what to look for a sanctioned club for next meeting. Also if you have any issues with any of the services send an e-mail to Ashley or Craig. Talk about the service at the pub, certain people Some questions about the elections. When can people vote if they are volunteering and where are all of the posters. Suggestion of having an improvement of taking down old posters before campaign starts. Speeches are at 10:45 and 12:45 tomorrow in the Great Hall. 15.8. Unfinished Business No unfinished business. 15.9. New Business 15.9.1. Capital and Operating Budget Update Craig informs council that the Capital Budget will be available a few days prior the next council meeting and the Operating Budget for the following meeting. Budget should be available for pick up next Monday. 15.10. Next Meeting Next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday April 18, 2006 at 5:45pm. 15.11.
