New ping pong paddles have arrived Fogging of glass in gym was requested from REC Services and they are discussing options to obscure view. As discussed, ATC students favor fogging over other options. First Aid training will be available from St. John Ambulance as of January o Show your student card for a 20% discount at St. John Ambulance locations o If ATC has 8 or more students sign-up for a first aid course we can have them come to ATC to do a course. o ACTION: Chair will bring sign-up sheets to next meeting
U-Pass for Dorset & “In-Progress” Students o More than 70% of Dorset students indicated that they wanted the u-pass therefore the Student Association has approved it and are negotiating with Translink to have it for them by January. This will require all Dorset and “in-progress” full-time students to pay their first U-pass fees of $60 and sign a form by December 15th. o You can sign-up and pay for your U-pass at room 178 on Dec 7th & 14th from 12-1:30pm o For more information contact Genevieve Gobeil, Outreach Coordinator, at outreach@bcitsa.ca Student Services Brainstorm

Cafeteria o Need healthier options (salad bar may be coming) o Request that it stays open later for PM classes lunch at 2:45pm o Request information on specials ahead of time o Would like better coffee Events

Student Services is proposing video conferencing appointments via Ipad or computer in the ATC library for ATC students. o Please ask your classes what services they would like available via video conferencing? REC Services, Financial Aid, Counselling…etc. o Students suggest having a dedicated computer in a private space in the library.
