The Chairperson, Keith Miller, calls the meeting to order at 11:08am. 13.2.

Chair has requested tennis equipment and Frisbee There has been a request of increase in weights up to 60lbs Frosting of the gym glass is now being pushed by the Associate Dean of ATC and should progress quickly.

BCITSA Elections Election Nominations open March 19th and only 3 ATC classes are eligible due to class length. It is a great position with many opportunities and benefits. Voting will open in May and our goal is to get 50 votes+ and beat last year 30 voters. Events Mental Health Awareness Campaign o BCITSA Advocate, Karl, will be attending our next meeting to disseminate information. “Like” our BCITSA facebook page to be entered to win our monthly giveaway! BCIT Career Fair March 26th – Keith will inquire about Aerospace related employment

The SA hygienist will be at ATC twice a month on a Wednesday for FREE teeth cleaning for all Full-time BCIT students. Financial Aid contact number is confusing and difficult to use. Suggested to have librarian set up the meeting rather than the automated system. Students would rather speak in person about these issues. Keith will contact Student Services for an update on this service. Cafeteria doors are sometimes locked and you can’t get out of them. This is a safety issue. $35 for yearly student membership to PAME Association. Looks good on resume.
