The Chairperson, Keith Miller, calls the meeting to order at 11:30am. 6.2.

All classes were given poppies to put a name on and return or post in the HUB PAC Meeting

The PAC advisory committee is holding a meeting with industry on November 21st and Keith is invited to represent the students The purpose for this meeting is for industry to advise BCIT of what they want from graduates. Please let Keith know if there is anything you want to know from Industry? o Students suggest field trips to industry employers and to host an industry career fair at ATC EASA Information

 Free exam for BCIT students to obtain a license to apprentice in Europe  There is no limit on the amount of times to re-take the exam (leave 3 months between)  Maintenance students can take it at the end of level 7 and during level 8 6.8.

Dorset Students   

The Student Association is surveying Dorset students by Nov 14th to find out if they want to be included in the U-Pass program. As these students have paid their fees already they would need to pay for their entire U-pass up front. Contact outreach@bcitsa.ca for more information. Events
