Being a set-reps is an important role to provide communication between classes and the SA Set-reps are leaders and should be empowered to help address issues and make change As a set-rep you have many resources and support available from your Chair, Outreach, Advocacy, and others. Benefits of being a set-rep include gaining leadership experience, improving your campus, a letter of reference, eligibility for a $500 set-rep award, and free food. A set-rep package was distributed, see Keith if you need one. Events

5. Vice President *Note Steps 4 and 5 are a formal written process As a set rep you can speak on behalf of a student if they want to remain anonymous and provide written consent. If complaints are made anonymously it may delay the response from BCIT as they may not obtain all the required information. Within five days of all actions you should receive a response. This policy does not cover grades, harassment/discrimination, and issues between students Make sure complaints are made in a professional manner in order to receive the best response. There is a $5 entrance fee but a first prize of $50 cash plus t-shirts, gift cards, and other prizes. Other upcoming events include visiting the Boeing Factory Museum in November. New Business
Thank you to Sven for being our ATC Councilor for the past 8 months. Our new councilor is Cole Harison. Cafeteria coupons are available outside Keith’s office Order forms for ATC merchandise are available from Keith. Keith will be finding out more about the First Aid courses from BCITSA Amazing deal available until October 21st 4pm. All BCIT students are offered a season pass to Seymour for $225.68 if paid to Uconnect by October 21st. Sign-up sheet is outside of Keith’s office and Genevieve Gobeil, Outreach Coordinator, will be back on October 20th from 11-12 in the HUB to collect payment. More information on facebook. The SA hygienist will be at ATC on November 1st for FREE teeth cleaning for all Full-time students. Please tell your classes to sign-up!
