Meeting Called to Order
The Chairperson, Brian Harvey, calls the meeting to order at 12:05pm. 3.2.
Updates
Punching Bag o Punching Bag has now been made available for BMC but a suitable location will need to be identified (6-8ft). o If no suitable location is identified other options may be foosball or air hockey. Wifi Dead zones o Working on contacting the correct facilitators to resolve issue Sailor Haggers Discounts o Still working on it Coffee Maker o One class had an extra one and donated it to the lounge space for shared usage but is now missing. If lounge still requires coffee maker BCITSA can provide. Confined Space Training o $210 for an 8hr certificate course through Saint John’s Ambulance but only on the island. o Sea Fire Training has various locations in Greater Vancouver providing confined space training. Need a minimum of 8 students and maximum of 16. BCITSA can see if they would offer similar discounts if at least 8 students want the training. U-pass o Watchman Program is 7 months in 6 week modules and are requesting U-pass as they are considered full-time Gym Hours o Should be open regularly after school now too.
